I disagree big time with the idea that what the mom said didn't upset him. While he wasn't angry with the mother for what she said, her cold indifference and harsh words about his past impacted him, made him feel depressed and not good enough for his GF's family, which compounded into insecurity when he saw the other guy, someone her mother obviously likes, getting a little too friendly with her. There would have been no reason to put this jealousy scene right after a scene in which her mother spoke harshly to him about his past if one scene didn't have any bearing on the other. One shouldn't be judged on how they were when they were kids, so I kind of wished his GF had a little more spine or, at the very least, had been more willing to listen, to understand, and be supportive of him here. I felt Yin Guo was being a bit immature here, making it about herself rather than him, but at least she kind of realized her actions and went to go see him to try to make up their relationship. If the roles were reversed, we all know LYY would have never let anyone speak that way about her.

So why the whole world cannot be at peace ? “ I love you” is just as beautiful as “ Wo ai ni “ Let’ s be friends and never enemies ! Because I can understand English I’m able to watch these beautiful Chinese dramas and I fell in love with Chinese and Korean cinematography!💖🦄🦋👍👏

It's not that they're bad people, but they're simply that way, because Asian society(based on pride and largely on how one is viewed by others) shapes them that way. I know because I have Asian parents, haha. I often have to remind them not to put _too much_ stock into how others might criticize us for choosing to live the way we do.

It was sad their disagreement She was angry with Lin but she should have heard him out first. The problem I have with this (and watch this only thru edits), that he’s so intense that he must be very addictive for her (and us). It feels like love bombing and at the same time it looks like a dream come true. If she’s made to have to choose between him and her family (which is supposedly romantic) she’s more isolated, and more his, then before. A nice set up for a relationship with a manipulator. Leaving your family behind for an unacceptable “permanent” relationship is a big deal. I really hope that my musings are not true.

I am watching this now. I have watched 22 episodes. I will asure you that it is not like that. Their relationship is a healthy one (in my opinion). Because when he was young he stopped playing snooker because of a issue that involved her mother. And now he is trying to correct his mistake. All I know from watching the drama is, he is trying to get her parents blessings. I kinda like his character though. Even though he is not the greatest talker, he tries. But yeah, anyway I think he is a green flag.

She is used to him being sweet and attentive, he reacted like that because he felt overwhelmed that his mother did not accept him and seeing her with someone else, he was jealous. and she didn't like the way he treated her at that time. At least that's how I interpreted it.
