Actually, people are not objects but dynamic and constantly growing and healing. Never taking an ex back is a really prideful and ego based strategy. Why would you disregard those relationships with whom you've built a foundation? Sometimes the timing just isn't right because people have emotional, mental, physical, or material healing to do or circumstances to clear before they can support a healthy partnership.
