They made a mockery out of ammo and everything around it. Previous wipes I worked on stocking up on ammo, now I just unlock medium lvl ammo, stock up on it from traders and adjust my gameplay. Can't be arsed to go through myriad of quests just to buy 60 good rounds per reset, not with the limited time I have to play.

It’s just Tarkov man. Anytime they add something new it takes them time to dial it in so it works properly. They just added a whole new armor system and that has resulted in buggy and inconsistent performance throughout all the different armors and ammo types. I believe that once they tune the armor system and get it working the way they envision it, we will have a system that works better than the old one. One of the problems that people have with the new armor system is that it’s easier to get killed by lower tier ammo when your wearing higher tier armor. My perspective on this is that players that don’t have the time to grind out all the quests and XP required to unlock high tier ammo can actually kill players even at this point in the wipe by using SOST and BCP. I am one of those players who at one point had a lot of time to play but no longer have that kind of free time and still enjoy to play from time to time. So this wipe has by far been the most fun for me out of the last 3 wipes I’ve played because I feel like I can actually compete without having max traders and access to top tier ammo like 55A1 and M62.

silly question maybe; but why is he not running Armor with level 3 or even level 2 thorax soft armor that protects him from getting 1-tapped around the plates by slugs or some other random 85+ damage rounds? Granted the TacTec, CPC and TV-110 are drippy ofc

the best part about this wipe is that anything over m856a1 is really hard to get and tbf it just makes it harder to kill people because you start to lose so much dmg for little to no benefit

except you need 53 pen to get through an arm now so you basically have no reason to run stuff like m855a1 because people will tank with their arms

With the recent limb changes it feels like none of the ammo you can buy will even pen an arm so every gun takes way more bullets to kill than it should, which is probably why everything feels so weird right now

Games goid an the devs seem to appreciate the popularity of thir game. All that is better than what bsg was offering so im on board w this game. Tarkov will be fun to play when it wipes for a few weeks this is gonna be fun year round.

first two werent shot in the helmets, the 3rd one was shot in the helmet and actually tanked a shot but it just didnt matter because he was getting full auto'd from a few feet away.

It's a slap plate brother it only covers the top, if they had Vulkans the result might be different

yeah ground zero loot sucks booty man that shit is absolute trash people are out here like "streets got nerfed the only maps worth running for loot are streets and ground zero" and meanwhile I hop on either and I get hackers, LVL 50+ wearing scav gear, any level wearing scav gear on labs, and then like maybe one guy a raid with decent loot on him, then I go streets and make like 3 mil a raid and fight giga juicers half the time

Every map is awful for loot. The whole loot table needs a MAJOR buff. Way too hard to find valuable items, it’s way too hard to make roubles in this game.

even streets got a MASSIVE nerf to its loot, normally id say making rubles is just fine as is, but not allowing people to run full kits because they didn't press F on enough things is just ridiculous and really hurts pvp in general, espcially because the players who are too scared to bring out a kit, or cannot, will just end up sitting in a bush. everyone should at least be able to afford a decent kit every raid this late into wipe.

dunno what you blabbin about, but thats kinda your thing. Even with a scav i can make 1.2 mln on Customs... It's not always that high, but pretty good. I fucking found 2 red rebels in 1 raid. Pff next thumbnail on your video will be: MP7 shreds chads! - Next week: Why the MP7 is shit this wipe.

its rng rather than thinking what to bring for pen or dmg just bring a mid tier ammo and shoot you have 50/50 to kill either way with this armor system sometimes shots just disappear even tho you shoot someone in the head and you rewatch is to make sure bloodsplatter after a headshot but he keeps on moving and he had an ushanka on

they recently changed how arms interact with bullets and now if the ammo you get shot by has less than 53 pen your arm will stop the round meaning you can get shot by a .338 in the shoulder and it wont kill you
