Even in death, Michael technically still owns that Encino, California mansion they were at. That was the same mansion the family moved into after the Jackson 5 blew up in the early 70s. Michael ended up owning that estate when he became an adult and even remodeled the whole house after the “Thriller” album blew up the way it did when he was about 24 or 25. He lived there with Joe and Katherine until he was about 29 or 30 which is when he bought the Neverland Ranch. Interestingly enough, he was the last of the nine kids to leave the house. Even Janet left by the time she was at least 20 and she was the baby. But yep Michael’s estate still owns that house he also bought a California condo in the early 80s and he still owns that too. He almost never stayed there though. By the way, the little boy in Joe’s lap is Jermaine’s son. Michael wouldn’t have kids for a long time.

So glad ya'll reacted to this video! The house on 2300 Jackson Street was a very small home. It had two bedrooms. Mr. and Mrs. Jackson slept in one bedroom with baby Janet in the room with them. All six boys; Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, Michael and Randy slept in the other bedroom with two triple layer bunk beds. Rebbie and LaToya (two older sisters) slept on a pull out sofa in the small living room. There weren't many black family shows on TV when I was growing up until Good Times came along and Janet eventually was on the show. Her character name was Penny.

I grew up watching Black shows(family) Jefferson's, Sanford and Son, Cosby's, Family Matters, and a few more in the 70/80's era. And this reaction guys was on point. Such a beautiful family and talented. All those kids growing up in that little house 🤔🙄🤗they're all still so humble, kind and loving, embracing and giving love to music and fans. I love the Jackson's so much grew up with them and following them all my life. Especially Michael and Janet, my favorites. Great Reaction!!!

There were only 2 bedrooms in that small house on 2300 Jackson street. 1 bedroom for the parents and the other bedroom for the 6 boys (3 bunk beds). 2 of the girls slept in the living room and the last girl, Janet, slept in their parents room. Janet was only 3 when they finally got to move out of that house and to LA. 2 adults and 9 children in that small 2 bedroom 1 bathroom house. Wow.

The house in Gary Indiana-where all the Jackson children where born, is still standing. It is basically now a tourist attraction. Many fans go visit on June 25th, the day MJ passed. A few yrs ago all his children were up there greeting fans, even signing autographs. I grew up watching The Cosby Show and Family Matters. They don’t make em like they use to.

Marlon and Latoya Jackson were not in this video although Marlon recorded it with them. It is his voice from 1:58 to 2:08. Marlon is the one who was always around Michael’s height in The Jackson 5 just so you know. There are 9 siblings, there was 10 but Brandon Jackson who was Marlon's twin brother died at birth. In the video you see Rebbie at 2:44, born in 1950, the oldest child. You guys don't know her but Black culture history knew Rebbie and her hit song Centipede. 1:25 is Jackie, born in 1951, oldest brother with the falsetto voice. 3:14 is Tito, born in 1952, the second oldest brother who always covered the bass voice of the group cause all Black groups had one back then. 2:22 is Jermaine, born in 1954, who was second lead singer to Michael in The Jackson 5 before he left in 1975. Then is Latoya, born in 1956, but she is not here. Latoya had her own successful music career. She was eccentric and popular in Black culture and Black comedy for that. Her abusive rich husband is the reason she apparently wasn't with the rest of the family in the song. Then is Marlon, born in 1957, and he wasn't there and his twin brother Brandon, born in 1957, who died at birth. Then of course is Michael born in 1958. 1:45 is Randy, the youngest brother, born in 1961. He used to be the small one playing bongos in the back when he joined J5 a few years into their success. The baby is Janet, born 1966. Marlon and Michael had both officially left The Jacksons after the 1984 Victory tour so that is why Marlon wasn't in The Jacksons at this time which just had the 4 remaining members, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, and Randy.

in 2300 Jackson there were only 2 bedrooms one for the boys, and one for the parents, The Girls all 3 of them slept in a pullout couch in the living room. The boys slept in Triple Bunk Bed Jermaine and Tito on the top Michael and Marlon in the middle and Jackie had the bottom bunk, Randy wasn't born yet, he was also born in that house and so was Janet but by them the boys J5 were touring so there was more room for the girls and Randy.
