In a budget, I suggest that all sugar industries be declared food processing units . All sugar industries should be encouraged to intiate to start at least one food processing unit based on local farm products. Sugar industries are usually energy positive and have necessary infrastructure and connections to farmers. Govt should announce incentive for sugar industries for setting up food processing units.
