DAMN. I missed them at warped tour years ago. Out of seniority they got the early spot on the main stage. It was the end of July and fucking hot. When we pulled in i could hear bro hymn from the parking lot. I was so bummed. I went to their merch booth and the dude working was really cool and hooked me up with an autographed, used drumstick, a pennywise guitar pick, autographed shirt, and a bunch of stickers. They've been way out of range with the shows when they tour. I'm gonna see them though somehow.

Kool Haus, Toronto circa 2001ish? One of the craziest pits I’ve ever been in. They played Bro Hymn as the encore and I ended up in a pile! Opening band was Not By Choice. We threw handfuls of change at them while we yelled “not by our choice!” We were assholes 😂

The Dennis Dannell benefit show in 2000 at Irvine Meadows got crazy real quick. Pennywise invited everyone from the third tier lawn to break thru security and get down to the mosh pit past all the reserved seats. Security tried to stop it and there was bloody noses on both sides. The mosh pit was crazy with people going nuts and a few dozen chairs were broken out in sections from the first couple rows. Security was chasing people around with beers being thrown at them. It was a wild show and I got to watch it all from the 5th row instead of the lawn.

I was there on the Alesana bus when this went down. Got him twice with the taser while still on the bus. There was a point after when Fletcher threatened our lives when he pinned the tour manager and myself up against the kitchenette. I opened the only drawer I could reach looking for any sort of defense and there was a knife. I grabbed it in case I needed to defend myself against a 6’5 dude that said he would kill literally everyone. At that point the cops came in and started hitting him with tasers, which seemingly had no effect. If they hadn’t showed up I really don’t know what would have happened. It seemed like the escalation wasn’t even close to ramping down. I was legit scared and confused.
