But its good to watch this one, makes me wish I was back! Anywhere thats warm is better than the east coast right now lmao!!! Great job man, I loved it! Two years ago on NYE I flew home on an A321 From American (N921US) And I actually enjoyed it, pretty cool! It was a red-eye flight, so we left on 12/30/19 at around 1130pm arriving at Kennedy on NYE 12/31 Just after 6am! Pretty good flight, anyway great job as always man! 10/10! 🌠✈

Descending into PHX reminds me of those flight reports done in the Middle East - absolutely no green spots! Nice video kiddo. Thanks for sharing!
@jjazman12343 жыл бұрын
I don't know if you have ever been to Phoenix or if your comment is just based on the video, but Phoenix is actually much, much greener than the true desert areas of the middle east. Phoenix metro varies between 9 and 12" of rain depending on where in town you are in (it is almost above the rainfall amount considered to be a true desert), while the Middle East Deserts are mostly below 4" with many below 1". In this video you only actually see a few seconds around the McDowell Mountains on the edge of the desert, and you see more around ASU and Tempe Town Lake / Downtown Tempe, which is actually a very green area. The color in this video is a bit muted by the lighting, but you can find some videos of landings in Phoenix that show the color much better and you can see all the fields and green areas better. I'm not saying Phoenix is green like Seattle or the East Coast, but way, way, way greener than the Middle East.

Yes, we flew this same route last summer, and the TV screen on the seat allowed us to see the cockpit, with direction of flight from GPS, even the temperature outside, 46 below, even though it was 115 outside as we approached Phoenix. Excellent plane, very comfortable seats and did not have much turbulence.

In East Contra Costa County, California, summer lasts 7 or 8 months. Over there, November is fall, December through March is spring, and April through October is summer. The summers are scorchers, too, with triple digit heat not being uncommon.
@KMJOAviation3 жыл бұрын
Hello from PHX LOL! I work on the ramp here and the heat is even worse because of the jet engines. Gotta stay cool and drink lots of fluids. Glad to see theyre bringing in some nicer aircraft, we usually aren't lucky enough to get seatback screens (or at least not me). Drives me crazy when those pilots cut across the ramp to get to A18 as it goes over a vehicle access road which makes it a bit dangerous for us. Great video, hoping AA continues to improve their inflight product!!!

As of Feb 1, the North Satellite rebuilding project is almost 3/4 finished, and almost on schedule. The new International Arrivals Facility is about 97% complete, and hopefully opening up in May or June of this year, and once that happens, the South Satellite terminal gets a badly needed facelift. I do agree that the American Airlines area of Sea-Tac (D7-D11) needs some face-lifting as well, and that will come along I'm sure. Continued safety and happy landings!

Great overview video! I'll be flying on American Airlines for the first time in a few weeks (CLT > DEN (layover) >PHX), our flight info says our plane will be an A321 but I know that could very well change at any point, but I really hope it will be an A321 because I really want to have the USB or power ports as my phone always dies mid flight and I have terrible luck with portable power banks lol SBE/IFE TVs would be neat too, but I always end up staying on the flight map channel because I love to watch our flight progress🙂
