The not my wife Reddit post ended up with the guy cheating on his GF with one of his coworkers. He didn’t want to leave his GF for the coworker tho, so that’s why he insisted on her going back on what she said. It’s more convincing when you say that you can’t leave your wife vs. not wanting to leave your GF. He’s definitely TA.

I've been with my partner for almost 9 years now it's just easier to say fiance. But we both do it so if someone said oh is that the wife I'd be in on it. The fact that he doesn't want to be married and she came to terms with that to then throw in her face that everyone thinks they're married is kinda really shitty. No one outside of the relationship cares if you're married or not.

the not my wife situation sounds more like an ego thing the bf is going through? like how most culture is so rooted in having trophy wives, suddenly being married you have your shit together, etc. so dumb. especially him not wanting to marry her? but telling others he’s married? HUUH? 😭

The one time I lived off campus, now with my parents cause it’s a lot cheaper, my roommate constantly locked herself out of our apartment. I was expected to drop what I was doing to bring her my key, whether I was in class, work, or generally out of the house. This happened at least 10 times in the 10 months we lived together, but the one time I locked myself out I got no help from them 🙄

We have keycards at my apartment for some reason and if they go near any electronic device or magnet they stop working. Happens accidentally to us all the time super irritating

Lol, moving after college there was at least a box filled with stuff I’ve stolen from restaurants. Parents were helping me move and since it was all going to be donated or thrown out my mom actually took some stuff out of it to keep 😂

Since I have a tendency to lock myself out as well, I made a habit of only locking the deadbolt because you need the key in your hand to lock the deadbolt from the outside.

The reason the professor may have forbidden recording of the lectures is that many universities consider lectures to be their intellectual property and as such make it part of their university policy that lectures cannot be recorded. The logic behind this being that by preventing recording they can reduce the chance of their intellectual property being distributed to unauthorised parties such as individuals who do not attend the university. My aunt is a university lecturer and she actually had one of her lecture presentations plagiarised by another lecturer from a different university (they had somehow obtained the transcript, PowerPoint and other lecture material) who then presented it to their own class verbatim and passed it off as their own work.

I worked at a Dollar General once where my manager was convicted of assault because she "apprehended" a shoplifter. The thing is, that was before my time there and she was still the store manager and was telling me that story to brag. I ended up quiting because they were bigots who expected me to entertain this old man who came in for hugs just because he was a regular.

I used to work at Walmart there are only a few people in the whole store that can try to stop you from stealing but it’s more or less them trying to shame you for stealing and the managers at mine only told me to check people at the door if you have unbagged items or if you look sus 👀

I do feel bad about names. People always pronounce my last name wrong but I’m chill about it. I have trouble pronouncing names if I have only read them because I am dyslexic and if it’s not common my brain jumbles it. I have to hear things and then write them phonetically

My professor wouldn't allow recording because her knowledge was "patented" or whatever, like she owns the lecture as her intellectual property and is worried we will steal it or something?

They do get your license to find out who you are. I know this b/c I once dated someone stupid who decided to steal a car when I drive him up to Walmart. They get my plates and contacted me to find out who he was

@@adarynhagar1927 I saw a tik tok about 8 months ago with the trio and was like "oh neat" I'll check them out on Stitcher. Started listening to them and from the one tik tok I miss identified the Christian and Joshua. So in my mind's eye anytime I heard Joshua It was attached to Christian's face and vice versa. Very weird moment when I realized in this video that I was incorrect. I ,like, mandela'd myself.
