I hate when character who grow up with magic become bored with magic. I amn't saying you should be amazed everytime making a fireball. But treat as 1% tech gadget that almost anybody has specially in the human world.

I find it poetic that the subplot with the mom boyfriend wasn’t even important enough to talk about it DEFINITELY felt like that while watching. IMPLIED SPOILERS BELOW Like if we needed someone to foreshadow the ending bad guy why not have Rufus be looking up information about the keys from Nevada? It was already set up he likes toys soldiers/the army so it wouldn’t be weird for him to be researching this. Then we could make finding Ellie a bigger deal for the cast so when she just appears it’s a bigger deal.

When Kingsley found out about Gabe being bad and using her I was annoyed af cause it’s like she clearly had stronger feelings for Scot before everything was discovered. Why is she crying so damn much over it when they showed us several scenes with her and Scot having clear chemistry? 😩 stupid imo. Especially the cliche BE WITH ME OR YOUR FANILY WILL DIE BS

I really tried to get into this show...and I probably would have if I hadn't read the comics it was based on first. I try not to be that "the books were better!" kind of guy (especially since I legitimately love the Harry Potter movies and those are significantly worse than the books) but....WOW. In Locke and Key's case...the books are not only better but they're a COMPLETELY different story than the one this show tells. So different that I almost don't even see why they wanted to do a Locke and Key adaptation in the first place. This is an almost completely original (and super generic) thing that's just using Locke and Key's name and characters.

Not sure this show sounds like it’s for me. I think the best way to have gotten into it would be binging it when my mom was watching it. As of now it doesn’t wow me. It starts out good as you say in season 1 but if it goes downhill I feel like I’d be in to just feel hurt.

I thought Kinsey dressed like a mess because she had no fear like “I don’t fear what people think about me or my horrible outfits” but then she got her fear back and she still dressed like she fell onto a Claire’s rack so idk

I really don’t like these kinds of shows most aren’t bad. But I feel like the studio want to play it safe and they all blend in here some examples ghostbusters afterlife, stranger things, fate the Winx saga. Unless it’s shows like the owl house or invincible then your show will most likely fall flat.

@@thejudgmentalcritter6584 The anime has characters who have allusions to a real life author in some way. Typically they share the same name and their abilities are based on something the author wrote. It’s not for everyone but the allusion thing reminded me of Rwby a bit.
