It appears the term ninja defuse has evolved over the years. Back in the day of OG MW2 a ninja defuse was only when the bomb was planted and defused right away.

I don't understand how they are so close to the bomb and don't hear the diffusal. i've never had that happen to me. Idk if i just have really good ears, but i can hear stuff in game that most of my friends can't, like people's footsteps when they have covert sneakers/dead silence on.

it depends on the game. In og mw2, the bomb only made a sound when you picked it up. So when someone was done planting, they would hear the loud sound of their character throwing it down and it would blend together with the sound of the ninja defuser picking it up You also have to consider that in comp, they are constantly talking through comms. If you watch a tourney and they tune into player comms, it can be quite frantic at times Other than that, i don't know

after planting that site alot of players would auto ADS that side lane/room. so i can understand why he never seen him land above him cause he was ADS. idk how he didnt hear even the smallest noise. i guess bo3 was COMPLETELY SILENT
