I’m Jamaican, and there’s no denying that there’s something so beautiful about Traditional African weddings. I don’t even see the point in the white ceremony when the traditional one appears to be much more meaningful. Beautiful couple!

My 8 year old son watches the Kabs Family videos on KZbin and one day, he begged me to watch one because he knew I would like them to! So I did and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them! Now we watch them together every time they post! We are subscribed to all of their channels and all of their social media pages. I have always called our family a team, also (Team Joefield)! I even had old school baseball team shirts made for my husband and I and our two boys, when the boys were little! I love that my 8 year old son can watch without me having to worry if there will be something inappropriate. Every post is good, clean fun! I love the positivity and inspiring nature of the videos they share. I tell my boys "see you can have swag and be cool without having to lower yourself to negative behaviors to impress others" and this is a perfect example of that! Incredibly good vibes that our whole family enjoys! Each of the family members have a unique and entertaining personality! Tay is so handsome and Chan is absolutely gorgeous! The girls are beautiful and TJ is adorable! They are a stunningly beautiful family, not just on the outside but on the inside, as well! Which is what I love the most! I love them individually, and as a family! They have so much love for each other and they are hilarious as well! Most of all, their videos provide some sunshine in a world that can seem so cold and dark at times! Thank you Team Kabs! We are huge fans! Much love and many blessings from our family to yours! God bless you!

I think the cultural stuff is so cool. I'm Jamaican and I am always reminded of just how much was stolen from us when I hear about traditions like this. They took everything. Its funny. Back in the day when I was young and stupid, I probably would have laughed at this. Now I just wish I had something traditional like this to do. This wedding was so beautiful. Cried hard man.

Steph Powell No they didnt take everything Steph. You forget we still have African traditions in Jamaica. Even things we may not realize is totally African. Lol the sewing machine isn’t random. It’s kinda symbolic. It a tradition that has been passed on from our fathers. I hear it was a form of starting up a business for your wife.

When you guys said that it was a traditional wedding and that you don't really celebrate it, furthermore that you waiting for the BIG one. I automatically thought it was just a 8-10 person thing at someone's house where the gifts were bought, bride prize paid, one or two prayers made and the wife was handed over to her new fam. But you guys did a whole thing, sure you guys are gearing up for something extravagant which is nice. Some folks don't even have what y'all had. y'all did the thing man!! 😊 This was really nice you can feel the warmth and love from all through the screen. This is worth celebrating every year. Y'all downplaying it, getting me all confused, probably because y'all just humble like that. Congratulations, all the way from Australia. Love y'all! (I'm Zimbabwean but when them boys started hitting that Congolese thang out in the room, I was hitting it too in my living room. Congolese at heart)

Wow so beautiful. I love to watch the traditional African weddings. There is so much culture and ritualistic parts of the ceremony. It's just beautiful. In the west we have weddings but there is not much African culture passed down from the older ancestors today. For me that is sad. But anyway I love you guys so much and your family is so beautiful. Mali and Taija with their father keeps me laughing, but I love the relationship you have with your children. ❤ Much love and blessings to your family.

I promise not to subscribe to anymore site until I see your wedding. It’s really awesome to see two young people as in love as you two are. My husband and I got married 37 years ago and I can’t believe we are still so much in love today. All three of our children are married, just retired and enjoying each other. The way you both giggle at each other jokes seems like a win win to me. Keep communication open, disregard the small mistakes that will happen and you will be together at your children’s wedding and retire together.
