Thanks Kanitha for clarifying about this topic to the peoples of Cambodia. I belong to the second group. I noticed we have a very difference mindset from group 1 and 3. Most of us are independence and we work hard so hopefully we don't have to depend on our kids when we're older. We work hard and willing to pay taxs to the government. How else the government have the money to support their people and their country. Roads,mility, government worker, polices, etc to keep us safe are all need money. We pay tax for everthing. Gas tax, water tax, electricity tax and the land we live on, alot of things we buy and much much more are all have tax. Cambodia has a very small population and need alot of improvement compare to other countries. So the tax revenues is very small for the government to work on. The government can't run by itself. The people themselves have to work with the government to make the country prosper!

I belong in group 2. Group 1 and 3 almost have the same mindset and culture. This is why group 1 and 3 get along together pretty quick. Group 1 and 3 mostly have a corrupt mindset as well 😂

Hello Kanitha, I agree with you with some of the topics you’ve discussed here; however, I would like to mention about group 1. NOT all people in group 1 are the same. There are 3 types of people in group 1. Group 1 type 1: There are older people like my parents who worked from the first month when we landed on the US. They worked and opened their businesses from 1980 to the time that they retired. They received the social security which they paid taxes on. Group 1 type 2: There are the younger generation of group 1 which they went to school got bachelor, master, or doctoral degree. I, myself, got a bachelor degree in Computer Science and Engineering and I am still working. I have family, cousins and friends who got degree in engineering, accounting, pharmacy, doctor, and many others. We are still working and paying taxes! Group 1 type 3: This is the group which you have mentioned in your video. When you see donation to the temples and to the poor from the Cambodians in the US, which group do you think it come from? We love Cambodia. We wish to retire in Cambodia someday.
