22:14 telling red to attack blue here (suggesting a sue-out) is why I don’t like games with alliances on. They are used as bad advice when the messages are outgoing, and when an ally follows through with the play, they almost always get left hanging instead of helped. When you receive alliance requests to attack, you almost always ignore the request, as should your opponents, because it’s almost never in your own interest to comply. Beyond that, when it’s in your own interest, the alliance doesn’t stop you from betrayal if the ally needs to be addressed (which it shouldn’t). So I believe that alliances are generally a net negative in open lobbies.

14 troops to kill for 4 cards, in fixed a card is worth 3 troops on average so it’s a break even play. As you can see, red killed orange and it barely improved his troop count. So, nothing really to gain from taking it.

it's a even moove if you look at troop, but killing people may scare other. If other people scared of you, they may ally for fighting you instead of each other.

The Australia talk is interesting. I have a tendency to agree with Pete on his feelings for Aussie, Only if you have to and move on sooner than later. But i was playing a game not long ago and my opponent posted up in Aussie, He ended up clearing the board and taking me out in the end game. Turns out he was a Grandmaster. Thought it was funny to see even in what might be considered a disadvantageous spot, if you're a good player you can make it work.

Classic fixed was the risk meta settings before eu caps. So I'm playing varieties of that mode. I have no issue with tr but it's definitely less popular for the viewers. And since the open is crucial in fixed wd we'd end up with a lot more games lost to luck with tr

It's not really worth going for any kill as Pete would very likely die straight after since he'd be using almost all of his troops, then given it's fixed cards setting early is fine as it just disincentivises anyone from slamming him.

I would kill red before blue. Blue is obviously a better player, and he is the one who gave you the victory. Ruining the game for the player who broke you so he doesn't win is fine. That's the nature of the game. And not to sit and do nothing.

I've been watching your videos for a long time, and I do value your expertise. With that being said, the question that you responded to in the beginning of the game. I was not a big fan of your response. I'm currently ranked Master and have played many, many games. I have witnessed people making piss poor decisions all the time, such as noob slaming or hit myself despite others being a bigger threat. Not all moves by players have a good reason. Some people are just malicious and want to ruin the game for others. There is no amount of getting out of way to avoid getting hunted and killed. This is unfortunately the nature of this game.
