This has always been my favorite progressive map because of the large areas of the map where you can hang out without really being in someone's way. Haven't played it now that good neighbor on prog seems to be the meta but I should give it a try and see how it goes. I think the map is woefully overlooked by a lot of people. GG WP :)

Been watching for close to a year now. I just enjoy the games man, did start playing and i made it to intermediate within my first 10 games. Unfortunately some newer players dont know the unwritten rules which can be frustrating i suppose but thats the game. Anyway thanks for the daily upload and have a happy holiday man

23:35 it there something i’m not getting or did blue just go the wrong way to kill red? Going up would get red’s exterior, go through fewer territories, and you would only go through ones on the way to red as opposed to black’s four.

As I say every week, this is my favorite series on your channel. I like 28 Days Later quite a bit more than you. I forget the name of the extremely high split bonus on the London map (it should be called "Tourist Traps"). At any rate, the split bonus makes that map have so much potential with portals/blizzards/fog. Also, I was an exchange student in London, so it just has that emotional connection for me. Vegas combines the "funnel" aspect you mentioned, with so many attainable "continents" being in or around the middle of the map. I've never played it, but I will have to give it a try now. I don't have much time and money to invest in the game, so I sometimes have to wait for a "perfect storm" to get into someone else's lobby. My job allows me to watch you and Kyle fairly regularly, but I can't pause an actual game for an entire day, unfortunately. I suppose this accounts for all of your viewers that are consistently commenting on how they love to watch your content, but they need to make time to start playing Risk on a regular basis.

They're called 'landmarks' yeah 28 turns is a popular prog map for sure! I think my bias here is my roots in prog extend back to before the good neighbour era.

What is the difference between a classic attack with 100% troops and an attack where you use the minimum of troops with 100% like 18:00 or 28:30 for example. I hope my sentences aren't bad, I am french ;)

I actually liked Purple's positioning in that game; I don't know if it was intentional or not, but occupying the central location with evenly distributed stacks allowed him to obstruct several kill lines for other players. (including Pete) If he'd been a bit better with his own pathing, a little luckier, a lot bolder, and not taken that horrible early 8-trade, I think he could've gained an overwhelming advantage in the mid-game.

I stopped playing risk cuz the risk community is so small and the risk rules makee it so if you happen to play with any player more than once than you get a warning for "cheating" then after you play with a player mo re than once again you then get banned even if it's just a random person

Also you cant alie with ppl and team with them or you get banned so idk why they make it possible to team up, if you dont want ppl doing something on you game then why do you give us ways to team up with ppl as if there our new friend?

Pete what do you think about card skipping on the first turn if you don’t have really anything specific to do other than consolidate troops, would skipping the first turn theoretically mean you are likely to be hit less since you have less territories and keeping a low profile, if you do it quick enough no one is going to really take much notice at the beginning of the game

But it’s good to have a plan if your expected outcome is the true outcome, because you can execute this plan without hesitation. Especially important in this type of prog world domination where making a kill can be life or death and the difference maker in winning a game

I find it funny how you play open lobbies all the time, but consistently expect everyone to play like a GM. Multiple times in this video you remarked about how blue was "pointed at your stack", but he was most likely just putting as many troops as he could afford to guard his bonuses from the giant green stack on his border...
