Compliment: their choreo is second to none, with every beat hitting so hard and precise that they could cut diamonds with it. Critique: the choreo is very detailed, and every minute movement could not be seen by the live audience. Obviously it was a great performance, but I just kept thinking about the crowd and how they couldn’t see and appreciate what us subscribers are witnessing.

mark I agree, but this sort of performance that’s meant for KZbin can be done in a studio for KZbin. If you’re at a live audience that’s primarily sports fans and not the dance community, maybe do something that the audience can appreciate, otherwise they’ll just sit there awkwardly like “why are we here watching this lol.”

Yeah, a lot of the intricacy and subtlety to their newer choreography gets lost when it's viewed in big arenas from a single angle. A lot of their modern material is very cinematic and studio-oriented nowadays, and sadly it doesn't always translate. Like, I'm watching this now and it looks absolutely sick. But I've seen them at basketball games, and as much as I want to actually see them directly, I always find my eyes drifting back up to the jumbotron.

Kinjaz has a sharp, detailed, faster routines and some small movements, and due to these can be easily overlooked in a big arena like these, what you can only see are just throwing hands, hips and feet from afar. They need to adjust their choreo to be more apprioriate in these type of big arena. Jabbawockeez have bigger movements, slower routine and transitions, that's why they have more advantage and appreciated in this type of bigger stage.

You have to have tempo and texture when dancing. Going full-speed through a choreo doesn't provide opportunities for big moves to have an impact on the audience. Plus, it takes a lot of skill to change movement speeds while performing intricate movements.
