@theknifedoctor Mr. Kevin, I'm so glad you like the all of the knives. I wanted you to have the 2 Keen Kutters for your collection and I knew if anyone could fix the marbles fixed blade it would be you and I'm so glad you like the ALCAS knife. I had never heard of them before until I found that knife and perfectly fine with you keeping it for your collection. I hope Mr. Glen, Mr. Wade and Mrs. Peggy like their knives as well. Your channel has inspired and blessed me so much and helped me more than you know and I wanted to bless you, Mr. Glen, Mr. Wade and Mrs. Peggy. God bless you all and thank you again for your service to this great country and all that you do for the knife community. You are truly a blessing!

The opener on that little knife for Miss Peggy has that point to open steel cans {before pull tab cans} soda, beer and canned milk. That was a fine video, I enjoyed it, and can't wait to see the knife clean up. Did not know of Alcoa and Case knives; looked like a good skinning knife. Thanks for your videos. Keep those bees warm, another cold wave coming!

The straight razor that you got because it has that little neck in the end of it that was made for a barber to use that was what he would use to open it. That’s what I’ve been told.

It does!!
@kenlewis1374Күн бұрын
That Providence Cutlery, small knife with cracked ice handles, has a can opener on it, not a bottle opener. It was used on soda and beer cans before the pop tops became available. It probably is useful as a bottle opener too, but the sharp point is for opening beer, cans, and soda cans. Also, Providence Cutlery is probably Colonial or Imperial.

I have a similar Rogers bone handle jack knife as the one gifted to Mr. Wade. Mine is unmarked, but I suspect it was a #10 and made by Queen. I was told that for a period Queen was making knives, but not stamping the tangs from 61-71. Instead they etched the blades. Any truth to that?
@theknifedoctorКүн бұрын
That’s true. They just etched on the blade.
