Once you get those paratrooper knives apart, you’ll figure out the issue with them not locking. It’s a simple fix. Both of those Knives handles appear to have been in contact with some kind of chemical. I don’t believe that shrinkage is from heat. The odds of finding two paratrooper knives in the same location is crazy, but finding two Camillus at the same time is nuts. You need to go buy a couple of lottery tickets! ☺️

This is my favorite channel on youtube.. love seeing the hunts for knives and the old Americana buildings still standing.. I love the knife repairs too.. We have very little of the old country left here where i live in Southern New Jersey.. Love the south.. Also im gonna grab any old knives i can find for you at farmers markets and yard sales.. A great knife haul. Your Victorinox is an Executive Money Clip with smooth Alox scales. I bought one years ago and still have it today. I carried it when I wore a suit to the office.

Great haul. Most Enjoyable Videos. The little Puma is a model # 230255 Corporal. I own one new in box. An very high quality knife. I own several Puma knives. They are well made and high quality. They are also very expensive compared to other brands.

Nice haul. Looking forward to your repair of the scales on the broken bone Boker Tree. I wonder if that Victornox clip is actually a money clip based on the size of the knife. I have a Kershaw that has a small blade and shears about the same size and it was marketed as a money clip. My Kershaw I have to replace a lost inlay of walnut wood. I look forward to your videos to drop. I learn a lot.

You can fill that chip with epoxy putty the paint to match.

I love that puma, I have to larger size one that was my dads before he passed, I never knew he had it because he was a case collector but if you want to sell the puma hit me up!

You got some sweet blades on that trip. The store where you got the 2 military knives had some collection of edged weapons I would've loved the d guard civil war Bowie that was in one of the display case's although I don't know if it was original or not.

I have a knife identical to the Camillus that you have, but mine is almost in perfect condition. It has the bail on it and everything, but mine does not say USA on the shield.

I dont have any pumas , but kinda resembles my Kershaw wildcat ridge (one made in Japan , one made in OREGON USA … funny I bought them both at garage sale… same garage sale ! no other knives there, ( only have bought a handful of knives at garage sales)( but I always ask if they have any even if they’re not showing) . They are unused no boxes.,,, and here I am, I’ve never used them so I can’t speak on how good they are other than they do seem like well-made knives. I have two knives like that style,,, so I haven’t bothered using them. Old craftsman and a schrade… lots of history in those two ,,, I would call them my work knives …Everyday carries are Spyderco . I keep an old beat up but sharp becker (made by Camillus in the truck) BK 3. Rescue / prybar/ baton splitter . Also I have few camillus cqb around the house - same with daughters homes .. those and Blackhawk / mod nightwings . The grands are familiar about knives - we feel that is a safe alternative.

I would love you to take us to that shop you talked about! Also i am very interested in how you handle the Puma tomorrow. I have one also. I wonder if you keep the etching on the blade or that you keep it intact, i guess you keep it.
