I don't know near as much on knifes as you do but know about metal polish. Never dull, flitz and several brands metal polish. The trick is the harder and the longer you rub metal, brass or whatever you are working on the more shine you get. The blacker the rag you use the more mirror finish. You know you getting it when you feel rag getting warm. Try it and thank me later. Also, a newer metal polish called White Diamond metal polish is really good. Walmart now carries it and around $20 for a 12oz bottle. It is as good as the intimidator polish from a few years ago. Have a good one man!
