There was a rail-gun type Sniper in Advanced Warfare that was VERY similar to this. Was a one shot anywhere it hit, and the difficulty created by that game's movement system made it all the more satisfying!

You forget Handler. SBMM is there to increase average player retention. They don't give a shit about you or other top 5%+ players, playing your heart out and losing 24/7 since you're basically 1v6. They don't give a shit about your teammates, that are generally well below the skill level of the opposition, and thus get shit on every game, to the point that they leave a lot of the time. They don't give a shit about your newer or casual gamer friends, who you can't play with unless you actively int to lower your stats, b/c you bring them up to your skill level and they don't ever have fun if you play together.

Would be great to see an SND vid with the MP7 w/ 30 rnd mag, the movement with it is so nice and it still has a great ttk if you can get the spray right and use it in smg range of course. Heres my class if you care: 30 round mag, zehn compensator (think its called that), dr6 handstop, any laser of your choice (i use stovl) recoil grip. Thing shreds. Faster fire rate than the rival!

Use Mag Holster and Tac pads. Since the snipers rate of fire is equal to it's reload speed it can be increased by using mag holster plus the bolt. Also Tac Pads just make it feel soo good. 😩
