Blades have a lot to do in work society and we don't always think of how many types and task are done with the knife and specialty knives and blade.

Yes indeed a dull knife is very dangerous to the users and most times we learn the hard way that its important to keep a blade sharp and also well stropped if you want the blade to last.

A lot of people don't realize that the knife is humanity's second oldest tool. We spend a massive amount of time cutting things; from cutting wood, to milling steel, cutting large things into small things is one of the most basic operations in any manufacturing process. Just walking into your kitchen is an essay in specialty edge geometry and design.

Is there a site where verified knifemakers and such come together? It's iffy just looking through Etsy :/

There are a couple of websites that specialize in custom makers. Arizona Custom Knives is one, but there isn't an "Etsy" for quality knife makers.
