Great Vlog Andrew. Thanks for showing us in so much detail. Now you see why people like us have been returning again and again to the Med Palace for years. The location is second to none. The staff are first rate, can't do enough for you and make you feel special. We are on first name terms with several staff. The welcoming glass of Cava and the bell boys bringing your bags to your room makes you feel valued, And the views from the rooms are spectacular, even the Mountain view rooms. The room sizes are all different due to the shape of the building. Because it is a horseshoe shape, rooms overlooking the pool and sea view can be smaller than the Mountain view rooms. The Suites with plunge pool are exceptional and worth the extra for a special holiday. Yes, the decor was very tired and it was desperate for this refurb, and it looks absolutely stunning now. So excited to return in December. It's worth pointing out that quite a few fixtures and fittings in the public areas are original and have been given a modern twist. They've done a great job. It looks amazing. So glad you enjoyed your stay. Thanks for showing us.

This hotel would not be for us. We didn't like no doors on the wardrobe, and the bathroom looked basic for a 5 star hotel. We also didn't like the restaurant arrangement and cold food is not good. The whole area especially the outside looked like a holiday camp. Your blog was really good it gave an honest opinion and lots of info. Thanks

Hi Andrew thank you for great vlog on the med palace it really looks lovely I’m thinking about a family holiday there now . In the early 90s when the hotel was new -ish and blue “ it was classed as the best hotel in Tenerife south . Also I remember a sand road very bumpy going to la caleta beach, it’s great there’s a walk all the way along from Los Christianos to la caleta . Best wishes to you and the family . Philip essex

Great video as always. That is what you call a review. The detail on your videos is amazing. Appreciate it. Nothing wrong with a well done steak. Medium-Well to Well Done is always my choice. It creates a nice chargrilled taste, much more than these trendy medium or medium-rare steaks that people tell you to eat. They still look like a good Vet could bring back to life. Hate that blood that comes out of them. You stick to well done steaks. Appreciate the real positivity to. American vlogs are fantastic to. Nice work. Glad you enjoyed the new hotel. I went in here on opening day during our two week stay beginning of July and it is as stunning as you see in the vlog.great to see the rooms and a great vlog. As Andrew says the golden mile has a superb holiday vibe and we ate in different restaurants each nite and the food was top quality. Will definitely be giving this hotel a try. great vlog Andrew.

Hi Andrew nice hotel much improved apart from the food very basic I don't think it's a 5*hotel you should try a night at the arona gran in los cristianos it will blow you away if you have there breakfast or evening meal the best in tenerife 😎 😎 that's what you call at top hotel 🏩 👍👍

​@@Recordings-ov4hvI have seen all your comments, and thanks for that , I must admit it didn't appeal to us hence booking the Arona Gran plus that one is adults only , my view of the Mediterranean is it's looks like an upgraded version of paradise park , great for kids not so sure about adults only holidays albeit at the Mediterranean it didn't look like you needed to rush out at 9.00 am to grab a sun lounger which I had to do when we took the grandkids 😂

I watched the video and honestly I thought the breakfast was very superficial. There isn't much variety. We stayed at the H10 Conquistador hotel in Tenerife and honestly it doesn't even come close. I really expected much more for being a 5-star hotel.😔

Only my opinion but I didn’t like the room at all other than the view of course. Hate open wardrobes, look too untidy. Who wants to look at their clothes on display 😂.
