Wow she’s crazy good at controlling her voice. I know nothing about her but I’m immediately impressed by her stability and the fact that she performs live as a soloist and still makes it look effortless.

i think this performance had prerecorded vocals, in her live performances she has some strain when she does the floor choreo but i didn't hear anything in this performance (that's literally the only part where i can tell if it's live or not because it's literally impossible to do it perfectly, she's so stable otherwise)

You gotta check out some of Yves performances during her time in LOONA. A lot of people really love her for her dancing skills (which is definitely her best trait because of her charismatic power) but Yves vocals are one of the most stable and angelic in kpop right now. Like she's an EASY top contender for vocalists but it's often missed because of her dancing overshadowing it. She is a true Ace by the actual definition. She was a fitness and fashion model, who loved to sing, and now she's an idol...and discovered she loves to dance even more than she thought. You should check out her story, it's really cool how she basically accidentally discovered her love for being an idol.

@@noot-noot-pingu-noot-noot​​⁠​⁠​⁠all of the performances are going to have prerecorded vocals and after the performance ur talking about yves kept talking about how it was unusual and it felt like her voice "stopped listening [] all the sudden" and was singing the part she messed up so much that her manager told her to stop 😭😭 i mean u can hear the difference in when she first got down and wasn't singing the first line to when she actually started singing on the floor

@@grey2301 the difference in the sound is the backing track vs the prerecorded vocals, I listened to the isolated vocals and she is singing live but it's very quiet and almost impossible to hear in the actual performance I'm not saying that yves isn't a talented vocalist, I've been stanning loona since butterfly era, but it creates unrealistic expectations for idols when music shows do this and i really wish they would just let the idols sing live
