@@DarkwingDuc of course not just with the 'music' itself, by making different criterias might works, like instead of rely too much on who have the most MV views, digital or physical sales, highest votes etc, how about focusing on the instrumentals, lyrics, melody, performance etc.. having an actual music experts to judge and also giving more opportunities for international fans to participate ,there's always another alternative

Nope it is still subjective. Sure views, digital and album sales is not totally fair but at least there is data/statistics to determine the winner but your methods is totally based on the personal taste of the so called "experts"....... which have no fair criteria to grade the songs.

as far as i know promotion time depends on the song's popularity on the music shows. They still didn't get their first win so maybe that means piri isn't very popular on the music show's list. so this might be their goodbye stage not sure. Can any one confirm it?

Of course, promoting more means spending more money, so companies of unknown groups tend to stop after a few weeks, or the group is popular enough that they don't really need to promote for a long time (EXO, Blackpink). There are unknown groups that promote for 1 month, even 2 months (like Dreamcatcher did during their debut era).
