I enjoy the grocery haul videos, especially when you mention how you will use the item. I appreciate the encouragement to try new things.

That trail mix looks so good! I laughed when you were talking about getting more when Jason is around. My husband was the same way except he went after things like Lobster tails, the big fresh shrimp and salmon! I had to follow him around or my grocery bill would be double what I was expecting!.

Those dark sweet cherries are so delicious if you make a thick “ice cream” with it in your blender with some frozen bananas and a little cacao powder. I also have a lot of chia seeds to use and I’ve been meaning to try chia seed pudding to see if we like it. You guys did great for 30 minutes!

Julie...You look so 'radiant' ... Happy to be a new mom !! I was wondering if you would want to share 'how' you learned ... to cook with the special flour and make nutritious meals with your haul..

I learned about sourdough baking from my friend Lisa. She has all the instructions on her Farmhouse on Boone website. I just followed those! 🥰

The same thing happens when I shop with my husband! I always tell him that I feel like a kid in a candy store when he’s at the grocery store with me… Definitely lots more fun food than when mommy shops alone! 😆

Hey, we love your videos! We are in Australia homeschool our kiddos and moved to 50 acres 3 years ago. Just wondering what rules you have around kids and picky eating? I'd love to see a video how you all do meal times and clean up ECT. 😊

Hi guys…. if you are close to a Family Dollar or Dollar General, they carry organic, sugar free banana, pear, apple & strawberry “chips”. They are individual sized, but they’re only $1.00 per bag which is awesome. If you don’t feel like leaving home, price check banana chips on Amazon. Glad to see you all out and about & thanks for sharing with us!

I want to join a Costco! We have a Sam's club about 10 minutes away, but Costco is 45 minutes away. Sam's just disappoints when it comes to special dietary needs, organic, or healthy choices. Can you tell me more about soaking the flour? We have been eating gluten free for years now, but I think we could do okay with breads made with soaked flour.
@jasonandjulie3 жыл бұрын
I make sourdough bread products and let the flour soak with the sourdough starter for 10 to 12 hours. I downloaded the free ebook from the Farmhouse on Boone website and followed her directions for beginning sourdough ☺️

Quick question about the gluten free flour. Is it a blend with other ingredients or just flour? I grind my own brown rice to make gf flour. I don't use gums but use psyllium husk powder to recipes.
