Even Tanner said in an interview, that he convinced the writer to have Robby win something and a lot of Robby fans predicted that he will win the seki taki. Both Miguel and Robby fought each other in S5 and S6 but I don’t want to spoil it for y’all

@ yeah u right he was in season 6 😭 idk if it’s just me but Miguel in season 5 just got worse. Spoilers here so anyone that’s reading u have been warned. I did not like the the fact that in the fight between Robby and Miguel the writers made it seem like Robby is at fault for everything and Miguel isn’t at fault for anything. Like yeah Robby shouldn’t have kicked miguel off, no one is denying that but from Robby perspective it’s very understandable why he let his anger get the best of him. So when miguel said “how come u didn’t hold back” I wish the writer made Robby say more specific things like “I was trying to stop the fight but than u attacked me and tackled me to the ground, as I was going up the stairs to try and stop the fight u tripped me and attacked me again, u told me that my girl doesn’t love me and kept egging me on, and it got to a point where I got so angry that I had tunnel vision” i wish that happened because whether miggy fans like to admit it or not miggy is not as innocent as the writers make him out to be, he played a good share of blame for his own demise because in reality most people in Robby shoes would’ve kept fighting and not stop until it was to late( not saying it’s right but that’s just how it is)

I liked him season 1 midway to season 3. but like I said the way the writers wrote it made it seem like EVERYTHING was on Robby and that Miguel shares no blame. And btw were talking about the school fight so idk y ur bringing up info that’s not from that. But since u wanna play that game, and bring up things like Miguel getting mad at Robby when he saw them together, miguel should know exactly how robby felt seeing as how the roles were essentially reversed in season 3. Now for the record I AM NOT saying Robby is in the right for trying to attack miggy after paralyzing him that he should not have done and felt robby definitely took it to far but at the same time it makes Miguel look very hypocritical getting mad at robby yelling at Sam when u know what was about to happen before he came, at least with robby in season 1 he wasn’t doing anything and miggy pushed him out of jealousy, here clearly miggy and Sam were gonna do something until robby came in. The point I’m trying to make is that this show is meant to be looked at with a shade of gray not everything is black and white. Also last thing to point but u also wrote an essay

@@hungryalmighty7156the thing with season 3 is Miguel didn’t know sam and Robby still had a thing, he was in wheelchair that whole season, I doubt he would care about who loves who after what he went through, No one said Miguel wasn’t to blame, But that School fight was the peak of their rivalry, Miguel said things he shouldn’t have, Robby did things he shouldn’t have, no one is innocent, and Robby was right, he was the direct cause of Miguel’s Worst moment in his life, Miguel almost died, I would be mad at Robby too, he lost self control, he was very hotheaded, just like Miguel in season 1, and even in season 5 during the apartment fight, the roles are now reversed, and Miguel still 3 years later shows mercy, and he Had the self control to not push Robby off the balcony, something Robby didn’t have the strength to do

Awww, it sucks to find out most of you guys don’t like Robby. To me he’s the best character. Ik what he did to Miguel was super shitty but you have to remember he grew up without his father (Johnny) and his mom was not the best either. He was always in and out of trouble with the law and now that he finally has a better relationship with his father, he has to see his father spend more time & enjoy more of his time with the one guy you have issues with and a rivalry with (Miguel). Robby is ACTUALLY Johnny’s son and Johnny treats Miguel more like a son and everyone knows it… even Robby knows it. Watching that final scene with that in mind is fucking heartbreaking in my opinion…. In that final scene Robby was basically saying to Johnny “Hey dad… I’m your son too”…

If we’re being fair Tory needs the win way more than Sam Sam literally has everything she wants Tory is a good fighter just as good as Sam tbh I think she could’ve won even without silver paying the ref but since Sam is Daniel’s daughter she has to win all the time for the plot but in reality this win serves her no purpose except to rub it in Tory’s face even if silver paid it off I’m glad Tory won if anything it teaches Sam not everything goes the way she wants (this is not to excuse the things Tory did wrong but both of them did things they shouldn’t have started)

I don't think Sam just expects everything to go her way just because, she wanted to beat Tory partly for her father so he wouldn't have to shut down his dojo since that was the deal. Also, the things Tory did were worse than what Sam did, so I understand her attitude towards Tory this season. Sam definitely should have won but the referee was paid off since she did score a point and Tory's accidently elbowing Sam would have cost her a point. Tory made need to win more than Sam but the problem is if she wins so does Cobra Kai which is why I rooted for Sam. I think Tory has shown some growth this season and I found it interesting that Sam was embracing Johnny's Eagle Fang more both were great.

Thanks for the response. I was more rooting for Cobra Kai this season 4 than Miyagi Do and Eagle Fang. I really wanted Robbie and Tori to win this season because they deserved it more. They are very similar to each other and their lives have always been a struggle. Again I am amazed at how often you criticize Robbie and Tori. When Miguel and Hawk were in Cobra Kai and did horrible things, you didn't criticize them as much and even admired them. And when Robbie was in Cobra Kai, and that was only because he was betrayed by his father, LaRusso and Sam, then you started to hate him. Question for Denis, who as you say had the same situation with his father. Would he be able to forgive his father who didn't spend as much time with his son as he did with his student, and that same student was the first to start a feud, fight dirty at the tournament and steal his girlfriend away from him, and then that same father visits the student first, but didn't visit his own son for a month? And Robbie was the first one to go to the meeting to patch things up with his father. And Johnny was too lazy to do anything about it. He took steps when his wife told him to. In this 10 episode, we see Robbie realize he made the same mistakes Johnny made at the end of season one. And that's despite the fact that you love Johnny and Robbie doesn't. And the criticism is more towards Robbie though as it turns out they are similar, even though Robbie doesn't drink. When Tori won, I was glad, but why the writers made it so the judge was bribed, I don't know. Sam started a feud with Tori FIRST, accused her of stealing, stole her boyfriend, etc. Sam and Miguel are really worth each other. And I don't understand why they are loved so much. They are sentimental kids and no way to grow up. Robbie and Tori matured from early childhood and were already working and making money. Everyone has their own opinions. But Robbie and Tori are fighters for life. And I never cease to admire them. Honestly, Robbie reminds me of Zuko from Avatar The Last Airbender. Guys, good luck with your next reactions and projects. Hey there! As you've probably seen, I'm team Tory from when she came onto the series. I think Sam's character has grown but still taking responsibility for her actions is eluding her in most cases. Gotta' remember that these are teenagers who are being guided in life by senseis who aren't are so set in their ways that it's actually blinding them to opportunities. We see a shift in that view in this season however. The series really shows us how life is not and can never be just black and white because a lot of it's magic actually happens in the large grey area in-between. Still I will be rooting for Tory until the end. I put myself in every character's shoes and understand that it's really difficult not to be the villain in someone's story. I have high hopes for characters' shift in this next season. Plus the writers managed to give them all a common enemy - which ultimately I hope unites them all. Even Kreese. - Javor

The point isn't that oh Robby lost because Kenny distracted him. The point is that Hawk won because he fell into balance just as Robby was falling out of it.

@@Akio_z If Hawk got that point the sudden death round wouldn't have happened at all because Hawk would have more points than Robby and won once the time for the match finished. Still, when the timer goes off Robby actually had his fist ready and was looking up at Hawk so we can't exclude that he would have been able to block it last second even if the timer didn't go off, while with Kenny there was no way Hawk was going to block it since Robby spent quite a while just staring at Kenny. I think this was the writers way to tell us that Robby and Hawk were really equal in this fight and, as Johnny said, it really could have gone either way.

This was a great episode first off we need to discuss two major issues with these fights one Not a chance in hell Amanda should of went to Tory begging her to not hurt her daughter that might be the worst sportsmanship a parent could ever show did it help Sam get a point on the kick to the head maybe there is a chance Tory went low to avoid injuring Sam so 1 point Sam because of her mother begging Tory to not hurt her daughter because of what she did for her mother as you see Tory cares about her family deeply. 2nd point about the fight I like to bring up in every fight the refs make bad calls it still counts in every sporting event so even though they make it appear the ref blew the call on purpose we need to remember what Terry said to the ref I didn't think you were going to help us win so money will be in your account there is a chance he didn't blow that call on purpose go back and watch it Tory does step out of bounds that's a split second the ref looks and sees she out so again its not clear cut the ref took the bribe . For the girl on the couch who sips Sam cool aid about o Sam should of won this fight not really if you know anything about sports getting the final point is the hardest point to get so with Sam down 1-2 she was giving it 150% not to lose Tory on the other hand had a point to give in both fighters mind at this point of the match Sam ties it up then next point wins match both girls now know the risk its even next point you win or go home a loser. So now to defend Tory point of view she thought she stepped out the only time she feared losing to Sam was at 2-2 so lets be honest Sam had not one but two chances to score a winning point and failed to do so against a fighter who just wanted it more for all the right reasons she is doing it for her mother and Sam is doing it to stop Tory from winning that's really her only reason. So the argument of Sam should of won every team in sports could claim the same thing because Refs make bad calls but at 2-2 next point win the ref had nothing to do with end point. TORY WON fair and square the thing good about Tory is she hates the fact it feels to her tainted because its all she wanted to win it fair and square and we heard her tell Silver and Kreese I don't have to cheat to win and to be truthful she didn't even know about the bad call she was out of bounds when she looked down! Okay one thing I like to say who Cobra Kai about its about Johnny story after fighting Daniel and losing and its also about the kids but they gave us a Johnny and Daniel story but with 2 girls to watch same as Karate kid 1! Sam is actually playing Johnny and Tory is playing Daniel if you think about it Sam is spoiled rich girl like Johnny was in k1 and wanted to be popular and Tory is alone with her mother and just came to town and just like Daniel story he was picked on bye Johnny and Tory was picked on bye Sam think about it first time they met she accused her of stealing then at roller rink bad mouthed her to Robbie and Miguel which is bullying guys sorry but that's bullying there are all kinds of bullying Sam was Tory bully from day one and what should ya do to your bully confront them which she did at the School she called her out and fought her face to face but Robbie interfered otherwise Tory beats Sam pretty easily and breaks more then one rib ! Just saying and if were being honest Tory actually became Mike Barnes but as a girl she also is bigger and stronger then Sam I think over all she is better then Sam the difference is she has no father like Daniel but at least she has Robbie and Amanda now in her corner !
