About them not finding Kokona body, they don't mention it but it doesn't mean they didn't found it just like it doesn't mean they found it. In this case however it's one of those implied things where you have to assume they did found it even if not mentioned, if they didn't found the body they would say that there was no body at all, but neither was specified so it makes more sense if it's implied that they did fid the body but he simply didn't wrote that.
