Thank you for posting this. I have been reading the book, and I have my dictionary handy. It is easier for me to absorb while listening to it read. Thank you William very much. I am enjoying your book immensely! I am sorry that they put you in prison, The Six and martyrs like you deserve the Nobel Peace Prize.

I've owned this book for 4 years and it is so daunting that I've never made it past the first 4 chapters, being confused along the way. Thank you for sharing this!

read it in a magical mindset. ready to meditate and listen. its a story of great uniqueness. you wont hear an inside story of the LSD world from anyone else. the high level stuff is super secretive - as disclosed in this book by one of the great members.

As an awfully dyslexic lad reading this book to me really helps. This excellent writing would be a challenge for me.

Amazing book. I purchased when first released, but just started reading a couple of weeks ago - only about half through. Emotionally devastating and spiritually transformative - in a good way - and poetically exquisite. A profoundly moving linguistic fugue Did not even realize Dr. Pickard had been released from his incarceration. Thrilled by that. Very unfortunate that the quality of audio is so poor - please try to get an expert to fix this.
@gnuPirate4 жыл бұрын
It is read by Pickard himself from and recorded from a PHONE CALL where Mr Pickard reads it over the phone -- from his prison -- and is recorded on the other end -- using his precious prison phone time to record sections of the book at intervals (for however long he is allowed on the phone, for a weekly or monthly phone call). The recording will therefore necessarily be poor due to the audio bandwidth limitations of audio through a phone, and this cannot be fixed. However, I suspect you do not know that this is the reason for the recording quality. I personally found the facts behind the recording give the recording a particularly haunting edge.

@@gnuPirate Thank you so much for the information! I did not realize Pickard was still in prison during the reading - makes it even more poignant.

You know he should have never been in prison to begin with. All substances should be legal......but you know I’m just beating a dead horse with this argument. I guess I will live my life being an outlaw because no way will I conform.

The Book is not in Audible. It would be great to buy it there. So I can only find first 3 parts. Where can I find the rest of the book, is it recorded? Where do you recommend buying the book? I dont want to buy from Ammazoon.
