A good lesson there Rick! You might want to set those buckets away from the others. I don't know, but it might help too. Thanks for the info.Take care!

First, totally buy his book. It's awesome! Second, I looked up what might help you with pests and taters. Try planting some daisies and/or dill nearby to the taters. Such a bummer. I'd move those two buckets away from the others as well. I really hate that you are dealing with this issue. Glad neem oil helped. Good job!

Thanks Paulla. The next door neighbor of that particular container, is a big container of dill. 😁😎

I hate army worm, I had to spray for them yesterday. I see you have a garden cat also. lol. Good video, good info.

Thanks Randall - that cat has occupied the garden. She has left the barn colony and pretty much lives in the garden enclosure. I have not seen a rat or mouse in that area since she took up residence. - Rick

My daughter and I had been harvesting our healthy silverbeet (chard). We went away for 3 days and on the fifth day I went to get some more from the garden, all the silverbeet has been chewed like your potatoes. I can’t spray anything because we are still getting daily showers. We have them amongst a lot of healthy marigolds. Unfortunately I may lose all the eatables in this spot🍺🍺

It happened in about 3 days. It was crazy how fast the leaves got eaten. - Rick

That's good. I believe it needs to go to bloom to attract the parasitic wasps, if I understood what I read correctly. So, let some of them go to flower. The daisies are for the same purpose; to attract parasitic wasps. They are ruthless to the eggs/larva of that moth, but do not bother us mere mortals. 🤣
