Absolutely yes! Almighty has blessed Kashmir with all kind of beauty and abundance, that’s the reason why all neighbouring nations have their wicked eyes on Kashmir. Jammu, on the other hand, was never supposed to earn livelihood from tourism as we lack such places. Now it is the responsibility of state to keep a balance between both regions which they have drastically failed. Darbar move was never supposed to exist forever as it was a great burden on govt expenditure. Railways were always inspired to connect Kashmir with rest of nation leaving Jammu in the hands of local consumers only. This is the present scenario which all governments failed to identify and address in the past.

Little context i would share with keen comment readers, - Jammu has never grown politically as majority of youth focus on jobs like military, paramilitary, SSC private sector of NCR. Hence, staying out of political knowledge and decisions as they mostly stay outside the state. Those who are left behind are so innocent that their votes are bought merely by fake promises which are rarely fulfilled. - This is the reason that Kashmir has so many regional political parties and Jammu has even failed to produce single party which has an equal significance as NC,PDP. - Those who are in government will bring benefits to their people only. Only reason why Kashmir has better roads and infrastructure in all of it’s districts whereas in Jammu zone, only district Jammu, which happens to be the winter capital of this state/UT. Except for NH, all the roads are in dilapidated condition in rest of districts. Same goes for other public infrastructure as well. - Jammu lacks efficient political leadership who barely think about our cultural recognition, participation of youth in sports, development of tourist attractions, empowering agriculture sector and many more things. - Those hailing from Kashmir based parties in Jammu are just saving their chairs by roaring in public and staying silent before competent authorities. It won’t be incorrect if i say Kashmir is decades ahead of Jammu in politics. I may be wrong with my perception, but this comment is open for further discussion/correction.
