The Ankhon Dekhi, Kaamyaab, Golmaal, Kadvi Hawa and Masaan fame actor talks about Naseeruddin Shah and his godly acting; his childhood memories when he used to bunk school and go to the Pan Shop of an ardent Shatrughan Sinha fan; when he used to sit at Shehnai Maestro Ustad Bismillah Khan's performance and disturb him; when his family made him dance before Kathak Guru Pandit Birju Maharaj on Apna Desh (1972) song Duniya Mein Logon Ko starring Rajesh Khanna and Mumtaz; when Sanjay Mishra went to watch Kranti (1981) and police took him to station; his huge craze for Feroz Khan and his style & swagger; when he ran away from home, did odd jobs like selling beer glasses at railway station and working at a contruction site where he fell in love with a labour from Rajasthan named Kamli and eventually father Shambhu Nath Mishra caught him there; his relation with popular writer Manohar Shyam Joshi of Hum Log (1982) and Buniyad (1987) fame. In this long interview Sanjay Mishra talks about the death of his brother Guddu (Sumit Mishra). He's had a long friendship with Shah Rukh Khan which began when long back he auditioned SRK. Later Sanjay Misha worked with SRK on films like Oh Darling Yeh Hai India and Dil Se and Now Shah has produced Sanjay starrer Kaamyaab which released on March 6, 2020. Sanjay Mishra also talks about his National School of Drama (NSD) days. How he topped the interview? How senior actor Rakesh Sharma initially guided him? Shahrukh Khan used to go to Sharma to learn who according to Sanjay, lashed himself with belt for impressive acting. He remembers his NSD days, Irrfan Khan, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Vineet Kumar and Navneet Nishan. When one of his seniors Shiv Kumar asked Misha, who was on a hunger strike, to put petrol and set himself on fire. Sanjay Mishra tells why he was rusticated from NSD and how he with other batchmates tried to avenge Seema Biswas who was eve teased? He also talks about his daughters and family.
