Ayushmann Khurrana starrer film Doctor G is going to be released in Cinemas on 14 October. Trailor shows that it's about medical campus comedy-drama which shows hilarious struggles of Male gynecologists. Gynecology is considered as a job which is more suited for women.
The trailer has already succeeded in triggering conversation around male gynaecologists. So, we talked to some male gynecologist of Delhi and asked what problems they face and what are their experience. Watch the video to know about it.

I am a practicing male gynac . We do have awkward incidents sometimes then we have to talk to the family and our staff always help . The trouble is more when you're junior but as you become senior consultant then it becomes easy . And yes there is always a female attendent around . Male gynac will never examine without female attendant .

I am a male gynaec too, but most of times females feel comfortable too. And being a surgical field,females do prefer a surgical intervention from a male. Ultimately doctor is doctor, irrespective of Male or female. Believe me this bollywood humour does not apply in reality. Gynecologists are vary buzy persons and see their condition in hospitals, always in hurry. Overburdened. People respect doctor if they are treated well. And after getting cure, shower blessings 🙏🙏🙏

I would prefer a male gynaecologist over a female because i have experienced that female gynaecologists are insensitive and rude while male are empathetic and polite. Difference in approaches of dr mannan gupta and dr kishor rajurkar is worth observing. Dr gupta talks that if a layman husband with no medical knowledge protests agressively then he too is agressive man. On the other hand dr kishor talks about his approach of making patient and her husband comfortable. Probably coz of age difference and experience. Husbands and ladies feeling uncomfortable is totally NORMAL and we shouldnt paint them being weird.

It is strange that this could be an issue. A doctor is treating a patient. That's all. Thirty years back I had got my pregnant wife examined by a male gynaecologist because he was the best in the locality. He had his female nurse as the assistant and neither me nor my wife had any hesitation whatsoever. And come to think of it, two of my male classmates were gynaecologists at that time in govt hospitals. No one should have any reluctance to consult a "male" gynaecologist as he is a doctor and his profession is to treat the "patient".

There is no such problem to consult male gynocologist and examined by them but as a girl I feel little hesitation to consult all my problems and try to avoid awkward questions 😊

Female gynaecologists are worse than male ones. Because males have to do extra to excel in a women dominated field.

Doctor male nahi hota . Is liye USA jaise country me sexual assault ke charge lagaye jate hai , after that doctor has done it multiple woman. Aur most(99%) of the time wo pakrhate hi nahi hai .

Sourab Trivedi ji apse to ye umeed nhi thi ki aap cover nhi karnge ye news ....after studing 10 yr for becoming a good doctor still sitting at home just because of the fault of govt ...aaj aap bhi kya govt ke sath ho gye ...aam janta ki baat cover nhi karnge ....I have full faith on u ..and hope definitely u will help us to let this bhari govt to hEar us 🙏
