Making of Amazing Lakh Bangles । Lakh Chudiyan । Jaipur Handicrafts l Election 2019

Hidden deep inside the walled city of Jaipur, is Maniharon ka Rasta. The street was once abuzz with artisans making India's famous 'Lac Bangles'. Garm Lakh or Lac, a naturally occurring lacquer was once the most preferred material among makers and buyers. But with the onslaught of synthetic Lac (Thandi Lakh), traditional bangle makers stare a near extinction of the art that was passed down the generations and worse, their livelihood.
Jaipur has two Parliamentary Constituencies-
Jaipur: BJP's sitting MP Ramcharan Bohra vs Jaipur Ex-Mayor Jyoti Khandelwal (Congress);
Jaipur Rural: BJP's sitting MP Rajyawardhan Singh Rathore vs Olympian Krishna Punia (Congress).
