Contrary to the earlier reports, it has now been disclosed that Poonam is well and in good health. Saturday afternoon, she shared a video on social media where she revealed that she staged a publicity stunt to spread cancer awareness. She emphasised the importance of HPV vaccine and early detection of cervical cancer.

Don't have multiple partners n maintain very good hygiene which is root cause of this virus. PAP Smear Test is compulsory for ladies who r above 30 years of age . The test cost is Rs.1500 . Every 3 years u should repeat it.

HPV virus simple touch se bhii fail sakta hai. You can have a single partner and still get the virus.

Absolutely right , It falls under STD so if you monogamous and your partner had or have multiple partners and if any of those partner had the virus might have transferred virus to him then it’s high chance that you can get it too it’s just like any STD transmission . The HPV virus later progressed to cause the cervical cancer . The complicated part is you can transmit to your babies by virginal delivery so mostly women with HPV have c section delivery and but still kids does carries these virus this is reason when they are in teen ages they need to get HPV vaccine .

Mam. My daughter is 12 years old. Can she take cervical cancer injection? She still didn't get her periods. Pedestrian told she have to take. But they told not compulsory it's ur wish. In abroad, smear test is free and according to ur age govt sends u a letter to do this test. As a reminder to ladies. In abroad they have a vaccination program for ppl and kids. Ex: hpv vaccines are given to girls from 9-12yrs girls. And to boys they give to prevent prostate cancer. I hope indian govt make a good vaccination program to save these deaths. RIP poonam pandey, i was never a fan of u but u were too young to go.
