During this Lancet Webinar, The Lancet Regional Health - Europe presents its first Series on “Rebuilding Resilient Health Systems for Europe”. This Series takes a multi-layered approach-by bringing together experts and thought leaders from different areas of public health, global health, economic policies, and regulatory bodies-to lay out how the Europe region can rebuild resilient health systems, in the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Pooja Jha, Editor-in-Chief of The Lancet Regional Health - Europe, chairs a lively discussion with some of the Series authors, exploring the important pillars around which health systems in Europe are build; what changes are required in these system; changes that have been implemented; and the new systems that have to be built to make Europe more resilient. The discussion is followed by a Q&A session with the presenters.
