I was there at the structure in 2010 when visiting Israel the 2nd time. It’s always surprising that muslim leaders are trying to rewrite history by replacing the historical sites of the Israelites with Muslim ones. The Dome of the Rock and the mosque on mount Moriah in Jerusalem is another example. The Koran doesn’t mention neither Hebron nor Jerusalem ANYWHERE. I read both books many times over. in 1996 I had the blessing to visit inside Machpelah to see the memorials. I long to return as it is a very spiritual place and one cannot help but feel the ruach ha kodesh (holy spirit) is there reminding us of our ancient faith in the one true god.
