Imagine a white saying i can't share land on the African continent. Such people need to b pushed out by force the Namibian people should reject this kind of impunity

I always had the question as to why those that were fighting for the land failed to get it back after "independence". The answer is now here, they sold out because they were tired of staying in the bush. After they secured power, possessions and land for themselves, they forgot the people and are now not willing to resolve the land question. We are poor in our own country because the means of production is in the hands of the minority who stole it from us. Now we are told, the land is not for the poor and the thieves cannot give back and worse not even share our land with us.

As far as I understand, if white were not guaranteed their private land, Namibia and South Africa would still have an Apartheid regime today.

Jacques du Toit I'm not so sure. The property clause was central to the negotiation process at the time, compromises and concessions had to be made, but the point is the extend of the compromises structurally entrenched white privilege and made it difficult for transformation and economic reconstruction to take place for the previously oppressed black majority. But I reasoning is that the Namibian Government completely failed, to reduce poverty, income inequality and Landlessness. The Namibian government has failed to expropriate Land, hence we still have skewed land ownership in Namibia. These so-called liberators messed up big time.

Jacques du Toit let's fight it out again then... Because the idea behind forming Black political movements was to unite African Nations (Tribes) and fight as a unit to get our land that was taken by colonists back!!! So if this was never fulfilled, I believe that we must take up arms and fight it out.. The victor shall get the land

I'm ethnic German living in Canada. My family were displaced after WW2 from East Europe. Step 1 in any reconciliation means acknowledging the truth, that crimes that were committed in the past and that there are impacts to this day. But too many German ethnics in Namibia, have the attitude that because the crimes were committed over a hundred years ago, they should be swept under the rug. So the Germans are not willing to support a reconciliation process. Here in Canada, statues of ethnic cleansers are being taken down, streets renamed, lands restored and the government is paying compensation for certain abuses that were committed by the state. Since crimes against the indigenous of Namibia were committed during colonization by Germany, Germany should he paying reparations and any stolen lands in the possession of ethnic Germans should be restored. The Germans can take any claims for losses up with their “fatherland”.

But why should I, Someone who was born 100 years after this happened, have to pay for what a kaiser(emperor) did. It was never a democratic vote to colonise africa, nor did anyone in my family ever go there. You yourself are 'Ethic German' so why are you not in the front of the line with your wallet open?

@@LipdidStudios why are you still paying the crime you committed in Second World War and denying the atrocities you committed in Africa.
