This video is full of so many unexpected moments. As you guys can probably tell, H and I take everyday as it comes, we don’t plan much in advance or really plan at all!
We just go with the flow. This can be a blessing and a curse at time but in this video you will see how much of a blessing this is.
It has been so incredible to meet so many amazing people on our travels so far. We have been blown away by the kindness and generosity of people.

Quick tip on a Potjie. NEVER stir!!

Cheers Graham, still trying to master the heat seeings sometime I make it too hot so the bottom needs a stir so that not to burn, less coals or make the pot higher! 😀

@@TheLandyExpedition from what I saw, you have a Dutch Oven or sometimes called a camp oven. It has a flat bottom and no legs. A potjie has a rounded bottom and three legs to raise it above the coals / wood fire. The heat should be very low and also put some embers on the lid so that it cooks from top and bottom.

Crodine is a cool place. When it floods they moved some of the caravans to the top up the steep hill. There is also warmwaterberg camp Noukrans boskamp(with farm bread) and jongensfontien. At least a months camping on that route. It is a beautiful area. Enjoy the adventure.

They call them geezers I believe.. gas fire heats a heating element over which the water runs to give you hot water. Good for remote spots!

Nice for you to experience African views that way, but 370ha farm was land acquired forcefully pushing natives away those good 200years ago, all the way from Scotland which currency did they use , these videos are nice to watch but don't rub the salt in the wounds about Benji having owned it for that long as if they bought it😢, we all know what happened, natives were killed for kinda like you to brag, 😳😲

Which was interesting to see I can’t remember the figures of what the property was bought for. I’d hardly say that we are bragging about anything rather just sharing our travel experiences.
