The Landy Expedition

Жыл бұрын

We were sceptical about going to Addo after the life-changing Schotia experience. We decided to go ahead and give it a shot.
(Schotia Safari Video • An Experience Of A Lif... )
We ended up being so glad that we did decide to visit the elephant park. The vast number of elephants in this park made it one of our highlights of the trip. The personal interactions with these huge animals took our breath away. Highly recommend to anyone to pay the park a visit.
Campsite Details: Sitrusoewer RiverCamp, Kirkwood, South Africa.
*We just wanted to say that the information we have shared in this video is to the best of our knowledge. We have researched Addo Elephant Park and the wildlife they have there, but we are by no means experts in this field.
Thanks for all the support guys, we appreciate it so much!☺️

Howdy folks! I had the pleasure of going to Addo with a guide who used to work there and he took me to some parts not open to the public…very cool. Glad that you got there…you can compare to elephants in wild Africa when you get to Namibia and Botswana and see what you think…just don’t get that close! You may end up on your top. Saddle up!

What a dream vacation you are having! I am a bit surprised that you rarely seem to meet up with Andy and MH, but perhaps you are just interested in different things.

I’m a English man and love to seeing what one day I’d love to do, I admire you for enjoying life and sharing fantastic content for others to see, I could watch you for hours, you are truly that amazing, I don’t think the 2 elephants were fighting, just testing their strength against each other maybe, anyway thankyou for another amazing video and I will look forward for the future one to come ❤️

This was fantastic to see. Thank You so much for taking us along. I hope you realize( and I’m sure you do) just how fortunate you are to see these magnificent animals and make memories that you will look back on when in your golden years. You inspire others to get out and experience what the world has to offer. I live 2 hours from Yosemite NP, and visit frequently. However I have known people who have lived here all their lives and have never been, mostly due to lack of motivation. Thanks for the work you put into your channel.👌We’ll be following along.

Hello! Thanks for your lovely comment. We are so fortunate particularly to see the wildlife that we are seeing. We fear from what we’ve seen in Africa the wildlife populations is diminishing quickly. So much mining and poaching going on its heart breaking. Thanks again. Harry.

Hi. Great adventure. Maybe a comment on the two young bulls "fighting". They where more playing, testing there strength. Some of these young bulls will join an older bull to learn from him and often protect the older bull as well, especially when he is on his last legs. In the years gone by, the old folk called them Askari bulls. The more powerfull the older bull, the more Askaris he could have. They could follow him for years. The two old Baffalo bulls will be called Dagga Boys.

Interesting thank you for that. Yes after watching back it does appear to be more playful than fighting. Thanks for the info! Harry
