¡Hola! I absolutely love the way Dr. Danny teaches. He is very clear and concise; he doesn’t rush; he is very modest (unlike some who are in a big avi trip!!) 🤦♀️ I really think it would be beneficial if every time something is said in the “tú” form it is said in the “usted” form too. It’s really important to know both and learn them together. Gracias por todo. Hasta la próxima. Victoria.

I am a native Spanish speaker, and I can say that it is a bit curious to see how they teach your language in other countries, it is a completely new experience to be on the other side of the coin. I recommend those who are learning Spanish to try the same, it feels a bit weird.

Yes, I have that with Japanese. Especially when the person teaching Japanese doesn't look Asian at all. It looks very confusing.

El español es mi lengua materna, sin embargo, encuentro muy útiles estos videos para entender el tema a la inversa jajajaj, no se si tiene sentido, los Indefinite pronouns me cuestan muchísimo dado que en muchos casos son lo opuesto del uso que le damos en español. Muchas gracias profesor Danny! me encantan sus videos, ayudan mucho también a los estudiantes de inglés también.

Gracias por la útil lección. Tus lecciones son siempre buenas. However I have another way to avoid this kind of translation that can make me confused. I always want to think in Spanish when I try to speak Spanish. So I have no translation problem. The right Spanish word comes from my mind without any attemp of translation

I recognize your good command of Spanish and I do not want to diminish your teaching, but in one of the translated sentences there are a couple of things that do not fit, so I allow myself to contribute with a correction. It is about the phrase: ¨If you need anything, you can call me.¨ I provide you with two alternative translations: Si necesitas algo, puedes llamarme OR Ante cualquier necesidad, puedes llamarme. ¨Puede¨ is for the third person singular ¨Puedes¨ is for the second person singular

Could you augment this and cover “every time”, “no time” and “someone”? I made a chart with any, every, no, some across the tops and the one, thing, where, and time as the rows and “every time”, “no time” and “someone” are missing. I know “no time” isn’t used often but for example “she did it in no time at all”. I think “someone” and “anyone” are the same cualquiera, please confirm. And is “every time” like “each time” with cada vez?

I understand that the lecture's principal aim was to show the different ways to use any, anything, everything, nothing, everywhere, etc; . I have a few questions: I was told that cualquiera is generally used AFTER a noun and it MUST be preceded by un or una, and that cualquier is used before a noun to mean "just any".Please tell me whether this sentence is correct. Anyone can pass that test. Cualquier persona pueda aprobar esa prueba. In English the word "everyone" takes a singular verb, is it different in Spanish? In the sentence: No one person can accomplish that alone. Ninguna persona, por ti mismo, pueda lograr esa solo. Gracias por sus lecciones.

@@lechuza6278, thanks for your comments; however, we learned that subjects like "nobody" "no one" etc, as well as negative sentences also take the subjunctive. I understood the sentence to mean: no one, by him/herself would be able to accomplish a particular task; but two or more may be able to do so. Your comments, please.
@reynoldgooding76262 жыл бұрын
@@lechuza6278, ¡ hola ! Cómo estás? What I asked is: what is your opinion in sentences which begins with the words " nobody, no one or a negative sentence. We learn that those sentences take the subjunctive not the indicative. So " no one can do that, or someone cannot do something ", would require the subjunctive in Spanish!

wow this was one of the hardest lessons by far. You are a great teacher, I might be wrong but almorzar in the future nosotros form is almorzaremos you had the preterite almorzamos. Who am I to correct you I got most of your sentences wrong.
@reynoldgooding76262 жыл бұрын
@ Peter Townsend, "Almozarmos is the same in the present tense as well as in the preterite! (All -ar verbs). I believe that Spanish speakers use the present tense , instead of the future, when something will take place as expected. . For Eg. Tomorrow, we will play the game. Manaña jujamos el partido. Remember that the future, as well as the conditional, are frequently used as supposition or probability. eg. He has not answered the telephone; probably he's not at home. él no ha contestado el telefono; no estaría en casa. Please correct me if I'm wrong; I want to learn also.

There are many ways to say in Spanish you can have whatever you want. puedes tener lo que quieras = ten lo que quieras puedes tener lo que quieras = toma lo que quieras puedes tener lo que quieras = lo que quieras es tuyo puedes tener lo que quieras = agarra lo que quieras This is related to inanimate objects. Regarding the teacher, I think that by learning a language in Spanish, etc., one can learn better if you travel to a Spanish-speaking country, why will you learn, but when you talk to natives you get lost.
