I'm from the Philippines and I understand the majority of Spanish terms. Ex. Cameseta mean t-shirt, Camisa means long sleeves shirt, pantalon means pants Usar here means use and etc.

Hello sir. I tried different translators for the sentence "Yo uso una camisa blanca" and it says "I wear a white shirt". When I typed the English Sentence, what appeared on the translation is "Usando" and the verb "Estoy". I am a little confused and an answer to my question will help me a lot. Muchas gracias!

"Estoy" is a conjugated form of "estar" which means "to be". It is used for temporary condition. "Usando" is the gerund form of "usar." So usando means "using" or "wearing." Yo estoy usando una camisa blanca. (I am wearing a white shirt.)

I guess he removed the verb "to be". I(Yo) use(uso/llevo) a(una) white(blanca) shirt(camisa). But you're right since wearing something is just temporary.

yeah, i heard r instead of L so many times. 2:30 los calcetines. and more.. These kinds of substitutions are typical in specific regions of Spain such as some Caribbean Spanish dialects, where "l" and "r" at the end of syllables can sound very similar or even interchangeable.
