Awesome NEW Subnautica SUBMARINE Mod Is In Development! (SEAL)

Today we have a new submarine mod to look at - coming from the newly-formed team "Seel" comes the "Seal" submarine (not confusing at all)! Honestly, this might be the most polished sub we've had to date so I can't wait to see it complete sometime next year!

Can't wait for somebody to add the Manta and the Beluga (Which is what the Atlas was based on). This is genuinely amazing, I'm surprised how far modding has gotten. I don't typically do mods (I've only ever used snap to grid, a mod that sped up the load times, and VR fix), but still it's genuinely awesome.

I believe you could build both a bioreactor and a containment upstairs and downstairs, which makes it renewable power + your water and consumption needs could be met by having bladderfish, lantern fruit, and something like gelsacks to power said reactor, since they're the plant with the best power per inventory slot energy gain. Could even go more basic and just eat the gelsacks too lol Kinda takes mobile base to a whole new level considering the cyclops could only use thermal power, and that isnt commen until in the inactive laba zone

I love seals, especially when the bounce around. Pretty accurate for a vehicle in Subnautica. But jokes aside, I love how empty and bare it is, it'd be great fun to build a moving base inside. Except the helm area can do with some decorations.

Between how big the wings are in the fact that the engines look like jet engines the thing looks like it should fly (realistically would need much bigger wings unless the wings have way more lift the modern wings (assuming negligible body lift) but you know what I mean)

The one negative I will give it so far is that it’s a bit sparse near the ‘cockpit’ area, in Subnautica, the Cyclops was a 3 person vehicle that we were piloting at a disadvantage, something like this I have to imagine would only need an even bigger crew, but I’m sure that this is an issue that could be easily fixed by adding in a few extra consoles or screens or whatnot in future updates.

Hmm... What about a concept of a passive sea creature that has ability to scan things? Like, precursors can build organic sentries, why not organic scanners? I know this is lore unfriendly, but is there so much lore friendly mods? Player's just swimming near precursors base and see how 12 meters long thing that has legs like cryptosuchus just casually swimming around. Then it sees a peeper near it, gets closer and you see scanner effects, let's say from it's eyes. Then it just goes back to swimming around. Player gets curious and gets closer with a scanner. Player starts to scan creature and sees that creature starts to scan him. After scanning player gets two entries on PDA: info about this creature and, let's say precursors stash or shrine coords.
