Great to see you out Carley and enjoying such an awesome tour. That lady new her business. She had me captivated. I liked the treats along the way and seeing you eat such a wonderful looking flower at the end put a smile on my face. Good going. I trust your both well. Mark

Thanks Mark. She knew so much. Even though I lost a bunch of the information with the sounds recorder, I still had to edit out TONS of interesting stuff.

Fascinating! So cool to see that PV has this kind of place & type of eco-tourism. Reminds me of Costa Rica. We had our boats in PV several times so have spent a lot of time there.

There is some neat stuff beyond the mass snorkelling and zipline tours. The first thing I did when we decided to go was Google "plant tour." I loved CR. I need to go back there someday! Maybe we'll have to get a boat :D

What a cool guide. I thought she said, “Chuck Berry” 😅 How cool to try all that on the tour. Had no clue cinnamon came from that. Good to see a vid from you guys.

So did I, but Googling it turned up nothing so I had to do some interpreting. It was a really fun tour. I learned a lot.

Wow, I didn't realize that it took that long to grow pineapple. We want to grow banana's, but it's hard to find seeds.
@Nerding4Nature5 жыл бұрын
I bet. I wonder if you could get seeds of one of the wild varieties? Otherwise I imagine you'd have to get a clone.

Stopping by today to let you know we are still alive .... we have been MIA for a few months,,,,, and we will explain later but for now wanted to drop by and drop a like and let you know we really appreciate you staying subscribed while we were MIA----(missing in action) Until we can be forthcoming with the news we will be uploading some videos we took during our travels from last year.....of course it looks real time but in reality the videos will be from 2018 up until March 2019 which coincidentally is when we went offline...we will be trying to catch up on comments this month and we appreciate your patience as we go through ramping back up......Thank YOU!!!

Ok wow, that was something else. So was that guide.. 👍👊 We have the 'hortus botanicus' in amsterdam. Its really small but story is that in 1706 two tiny plants were nursed and shipped to south America to become ancestors of many big plantation. The dutch didn't like the Arabic prices for coffee so they stole the plants and got them to the Hortus.. ..like they should 😁🤨
@Nerding4Nature5 жыл бұрын
Interesting! I bet that plant was one of their ancestors.

That was delightful; Gotta love tropical fruits and plants. Cool backstory about chilis. How were the berries? I'll never take cinnamon sticks for granted again. I'm glad you had such a skilled guide even with the Tim Horton's comment.

All the berries we tried were delicious. I skipped a few of them. There was just too much information to include everything. Everything was delicious though.
