Public Statement About Demonic and Fleshly Manifestations In The Church - PLEASE READ THIS TEXT...

PLEASE READ THIS TEXT BEFORE SEEING THE VIDEO!
It's time to do this public statement on behalf of 'The Last Reformation' to address a growing problem when it comes to some demonic and fleshly manifestations we are seeing in the church.
In many places, wrong spirits have crept into the church and shown themselves through weird manifestations and shaking. Many people today think this is the Holy Spirit manifesting, yet through the years we've prayed for many people who have had these manifestations, and they have experienced a freedom from them through deliverance. We've also noticed that many of these wrong spirits, sadly enough, have been received during church meetings.
In this video, we mention that it is right now not important for us to address names of ministries or churches where we see this. We focus, rather, on what the problems are. We hope that by doing this, many out there will start recognizing all this, and will rise up against it.
We don’t say any of this with a Pharisaical or anti-manifestation attitude. You who know us, know that we believe in the power of the Holy Spirit, as you see in our movies: tlrmovie.com .
So we'd like to make clear that we are for the work of the Holy Spirit, and we fully believe in a miracle-working God, and that people can experience God! We often see God doing amazing things!
However, the Bible is very clear that we should learn to discern what is from God and what it not. The Bible is also very clear that we are called to cast out demons when that is needed.
During the many deliverances and talks we've had with people about this problem, we became convinced that we’re dealing with manifestations of wrong spirits, or fleshly manifestations, not manifestations of the Holy Spirit. Some people we've talked with about this have needed a deliverance to be free from this. Others have, by themselves, stopped doing those weird manifestations and shaking, after knowing that this is not from God. In these cases, they could easily stop, themselves, because it was only fleshly manifestations. Yes, we've seen many who have experienced freedom just by understanding this is not from God and that they don’t need to do like the others are doing in order to be accepted as holy or close to God.
In recent weeks, we've met more who have had a need for this teaching, or for deliverance from these wrong spirits, and we now feel strongly that it's time to go public with it by making this video.
We encourage you to see the whole video, and we hope that you will feel our heart in it. I didn’t find it easy to make this video, knowing that it might not be well received by some of you. However, we can’t keep quiet about it anymore.
Let's do as the Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:21, “Test everything and hold on to what is good." Let’s “not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God” (1 John 4.1).
Let's see a church rise up that wants to have everything that is from God, but nothing to do with what's not from Him.
In a short time, I will do a follow-up video where I will talk more about discerning of spirits, and answer any questions that come up because of this video.

Thank you for doing this video. I've been a Christian for over 50 years now, and have seen so much of this. And I admit I felt for a long time I was unspiritual, and just couldn't hear God because these 'manifestations' were not happening to me. Now, I see that God was protecting me all these years, and I'm so thankful for that. I knew when I very first became acquainted with your ministry, that this was truly a work of God. I believe this is just how the apostles ministered in the Book of Acts, no glitzy smoke and light shows, no big stadiums, no million dollar mansions, but one on one ministry. He is so right on all levels Jesus never had his disciples shaking and acting a fool. It. was only those demon possessed. I agree with the lady who mentioned that she had been on the church for 50 years.So she pretty much seem it all.

What you said is what I thought for years. I wondered what I've done or didn't do cause I was never able to 'manifest." I was even told I was doing something wrong, I wasn't in fellowship with the Father. It took me years but I started to wake up and realize just a couple of years ago. I'm 61 and have always been a Christian. But I did fall out of going to church partly because I didn't always "feel" like a Christian.

What is the answer? Humility. The Azusa Street revival began with Rev Seymour, a very humble man. There were manifestations of the spirit but also times of being absolutely still with a holy hush. These times left people demonstrably changed. What is interesting is that Seymour spent 8-10 hours a day in waiting on God, prayer, and reading the word. He had discernment on this subject. When someone was acting in the flesh, he would go to them and quietly make them aware with gentle words that they were having an emotional response and guided them into a quieter attitude and surrender to God. He might even be in his upstairs room while a meeting was going on below (they ran 24-7) and knew thru the Holy Spirit that people were acting out in the flesh. It's reported that he would stomp on the floor (and people responded by quieting down) or go downstairs to gently guide people. It was said of Seymour that even though he had gigantic faith, his manner was gentle and childlike. Like Seymour, our only safety is in humility and childlike dependence upon the Lord. This is a subject that needs to be preached on a lot more often. In 55 years, I've never heard even one sermon on the important topic of humility. Andrew Murray has an excellent book on the subject. Interestingly enough, this revival ended when other outside leaders became jealous and wanted to commandeer the movement for themselves. This is a clear indication that we must always be alert to the tendency for the flesh to exert itself, even in the most holy circumstances. We must not be so in awe of any person that we don't remain on the alert, even suspecting our own selves of being susceptible to the deception of the flesh as it tries to be spiritual.

Amen - this is what I experienced in a HS filled fellowship. The LACK of self-control I experienced at other fellowships. I saw fruit at the first, and holiness, and deliverance, salvation, fruit fruit fruit. And the PEACE of GOD. There was humility and strength, not chaos and abnormal behaviors. God is a God of Order

I so agree @ A Mel. And thank you for giving insight on how Mr Seymour acted out in humility. Two years ago, I also came across Andrew Murray's book ln Humility, and also downloaded its audio presentation, which I listen to. The Lord has changed me through Mr Murray's writing, and the more I search on the Scriptures on the lives of the men of YAH and how humble they were, Moses especially. I’ve seen this first hand and have even heard the Holy Spirit strongly tell me Kundalini when someone was putting her hand on me laughing uncontrollably as she did often and this group of people wanted me to do the same. It's true. You don't hear about this. Not in America anyway, however, I believe the reason why is not so much that they are trying to ignore this as it is just plain ignorance about the subject. Here in Orlando FL many home churches and youth meetings are ending in uncontrollable laughter, people rolling around, moving like snakes on the ground and saying senseless things and prophesies of flattery and puffing up and everyone cheering and clapping. This was the heartbreaking thing I saw the last time I went to one of these Christian Clubs as I call them now. God told me to sit still and watch, as people moved like snakes around me and the youth leader assured it was the Holy Spirit. Now i do home church and God adds daily those that are being saved. And we see the Holy Spirit of God moving in our midst, and there are the charismatic gifts as described in the word of God: visions, prophesy, word of knowledge, word of wisdom, healings, tongues, interpretation of tongues. What I don’t see is people laughing uncontrollably, rolling on the ground and giving flattery prophesies all the time. And instead, God reveals the intentions of the heart and exhorts, for we are living in wicked perverse times, where evil is being called good. It will only get worse. How do you know if you’re not already deceived? First step is to examine your thoughts and actions. And if your thoughts are constantly impure and you practice sin then yes you are deceived and blind. The only choice is to forsake everything you know and cry out to God for mercy, and if you truly repent with a humble heart, then He will truly forgive you and give you HIS HOLY SPIRIT WHICH PRODUCES HOLINESS!!!!!!

I have been to these like global awakening and Holy Spirit immediately showed me what was of Him and not..and the sad thing is 95% of the people had no discernment to see..it was shocking and sad..and they accused me of having a reglious spirit when I told them most of this is not from Holy Spirit!! Amen Torben! Good word. Well said. We need to get back to deliverance. Don’t overlook however, that the fire of the Holy Spirit is confronting the spirits and bringing them to the surface. The enemy can’t hide in The Presence.

Torben, I am so glad you put this video out. I've seen this going on and wondered specifically where you stood on this subject. Just the other day, I was listening to one of your videos and said to myself that I would have to put on the brakes about trusting you until I knew where you were on this topic. Let me explain. I always listen to preachers/teachers with a mental comparison to the word of God, testing what they say against the word. But I've lately begun to hear many well known teachers teach things that are not true and observed "Christian leaders" on video displaying demonic movements while in the pulpit or encouraging their followers to do the same. I noticed how many of these leaders began sincerely but as they continued to seek power and signs, they opened the door to deception. This is why Jesus said we must take up our cross daily and why we should rejoice that our names are in the Lamb's book of life rather than rejoice that we have power over demons. (And so many more teachings.) I went to my pastor about this and he acted angry with me, shouted at me and accused me of judging these people. I stayed calm and tried to share with him some of the things they've said/done and he was surprised at how bad some of it was but as yet he is unwilling to apply discernment. I have resolved to withhold trust for anyone's teaching until I know where they are on discerning the demonic/new age fake that is creeping into churches. (Unfortunately this means that I suffer conflict as I listen to my pastor but I continue to pray. I know he's a sincere believer---however; as demonstrated by these leaders who have already slipped down that slippery slope of seeking signs and power, sincerity by itself is not enough.)

Counterfeit means a copy. Which means that the reactions could be a copy as well. The question is what is the result of manifestation. The fruit of the Spirit is the key to discern which spirit is working. Look at the manifestations of King Saul.

Torben, I'm so glad that you're speaking about this because I saw a lot of what you described in churches as a baby Christian, and I was definitely getting serious warnings from God not to let anyone pray for me because there was a lot of manifestations exactly as you described ( more Lord ect..) and it was just confusion. It was also being shown to me that some Churches were infiltrated and also some of the laughter anointing I was shown in a vision was a mocking spirit that was a spell/ enchantment that was put on people. I'd been in the world for a long time and got saved as an older adult I was really puzzled at what was going on. The sad thing is I ended up never getting prayer that I desperately needed from my own deliverance because of my concern of picking up something weird from going to the wrong Church. I got so discouraged at all the stuff I was saying and hit my own personal battles and attacks from the enemy that I actually ended up walking away for several years until God I couldn't follow him anymore because your position is too much and I was just getting demolished spiritually. I am a very heartbroken Prodigal now, trying to stand again.

Yes! Very important! At my congregation, we have a rule: Only the Prayer Team, the Preacher, and the Elders can lay hands upon people. That prevents any transfer of spirits.

How can one transfer a spirit to you yet you have the Holy spirit?

It's about spiritual authority. Jesus cast out demons all the time, yet He was never taken over by them. After Jesus was baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit, He was led into the desert for 40 days to be tempted by Satan. Those forty days prepared Him to handle whatever came His way. His ministry would not have been successful otherwise. To your question: If someone is not prepared spiritually and unable to handle spiritual warfare, those spirits can overtake us very easily. And if I lead a clean and holy life and I am anointed and I lay hands upon someone and I cast out a spirit, that spirit will leave because it recognizes the authority I have in Jesus.

This is very true i have encountered it many times . I was at an event called David’s Tent and a gir was shaking and asking strange faces i told my friends that was not the Holy Spirit but a demon . I took authority in Jesus name and the demon kicked off spitting on me , crazy voice she then hit the ground for around15 minutes convulsing the security then came over and interrupted while i was in the Ministry . There is little or no knowledge of deliverance Ministry in the Church . It can be at times complex also and take a few hours .

While I was in Malawi, Africa a couple of years ago, we were ministering the gospel to some people when a lady did the same thing in throwing her self to the ground, convulsing and throwing up. I was at that moment, praying for another woman. The other guys that were with me were just standing there with their eyes wide opened, scared to death. They were a part of a denomination that believes that the power of the Holy Spirit was for the days of the apostles only. I finished my prayer for the other woman, went over, knelt down on the ground at her feet, and started rebuking and casting the demon out of her. After a little time, she sat up and sat there as peaceful as though nothing had happened. She looked up and said she had never felt peace like she was feeling ever in her life. She invited me over to speak with her husband, so we went. Her husband was not there, but her son and his friend were. We shared the gospel with them, they received forgiveness of sin and believed in Jesus, and were saved. We started praying for them and broke out into some songs of praise. I fell to the floor, and cried out for the husband of the house, praying in the Spirit. I prayed that when he came home, he would fall to the floor and say, "I need you, God. I need you. Help Me!" We finished and were leaving, when the husband came around the corner of the house, looked at me, and ran to me and grabbed my hand and shouted, "I need God. Please, Help me. I need him so much." first, I was like, shocked, for I knew what I had just prayed, but then, I brought a word from the Lord over him and spoke with him the things of God, and he repented and placed his faith in Jesus. Afterward, as we were leaving, he said to me that as he was walking back to the house, he was praying and asking God to please show him who He was, and give him someone that would tell him about Him. He said as he came around the house, he thought I was an angel, (For I was the only white man in a very black-manned world, lol) and that was why he ran to me and fell down asking me to tell him about God. Praise God.

Some ministries focus so much on healing that they don't understand demons. Other ministries focus so much on deliverance that they don't understand healing. We need to understand both. My ministry does both. I'm glad TLR is starting to understand demons better.

Agree completely there are also those who feel they need validation of every ache and pain to be demonic or any other symptom ..it concerns me that demonic possession is indeed becoming a fad .Likewise when we as Christians slip up either by swearing or a kind of sin ..people of the church tend to look to deeply and asume that there is demonic influence . Thus a ritual begins and that is when I feel sometimes that the door is opened often the religious leader does it in good faith concerned for the person and their pains . In short there is either too many needing validation of demonic spirits giving them too much credit while the truly demonic influence slips quietly into the church ..in pray for the discernment for others to know the difference God bless you everyone in Jesus name Amen

Precious brother, thank you for sharing your heart. I agree that satan does often counterfeit what God does in an effort to draw the focus away from God to the manifestation. However, I pray that you will be very careful not to judge all by the same purview. Many of God's greatest men and women of God were transformed in an encounter where they experienced fire and electricity that was not a part of themselves..... it was a true anointing and the result was huge and profound changes in their lives and ministries. Yes, I have seen exactly what you are addressing, but I have also seen the "Real" God thing and the evidence of God's anointing in the form of healing, deliverance, Love Joy Peace, Self Control and blessings that manifest in a beautiful difference in the lives of those who have been blessed in a way that resulted in a manifestation of gentle laughter and speaking in tongues and even being slain in the spirit for some time. I love you and pray often for your ministry, but caution you not to throw the baby out with the bath water. If what you see raises a sense of discomfort..... do what the Lord leads you to do, but be very careful not to judge all as being a manifestation of the devil..... because, many times it is the Holy Spirit. And we have also prayed for people who were taught this and we have prayed for them and casted out the demons and they got delivered. Many come to the meetings looking for the manifestations and we tell them that some of these manifestations are not the Holy Spirit (which is what you already said in this video). I believe you made some very true statements and have seen a spirit of confusion at meetings also. I also believe that when we are in Gods presence our body can react sometimes I have felt my hands tremble when I feel Gods presence strongly, it’s not crazy or out of control though. I don’t think that’s a bad spirit not everything is a bad spirit. I think when we are mature Christian we should have discernment and know the difference. I have also seen people laughing out of joy I don’t think it’s all a bad spirit but I do believe there is also a counterfeit and we do need to discern.

If some people can't handle it, or/and get offended by it, then it tells you what spirit they are of. If they want only that which is of God, then they will appreciate your bluntness and ask for help. However, you might be very surprised indeed by how many so-called "respected deliverance ministers" with high profiles that are in need themselves of DELIVERANCE and allow their staff to 'manifest' as well as themselves, behind closed doors. I believe the Lord will flush out all THOSE who need to repent for opening doors in others (as well as themselves) because they allow their egos to 'get in the way' of doing the right thing, confessing their sins/ issues and getting help from the body. Since Constantine, there have been two rivers in the church and what he instituted leads to an understanding of why. Since then, every revival has been plagued with this counterfeit river running alongside the true river of Life. I have been praying for Father to dry up this counterfeit river at the headwaters. TrulyJJJEN If we agape love the truth, 2 Thess 2:9-12 shows us we can avoid the spirit of delusion. If we search the scriptures in the original languages, like the Bereans, asking for the guidance of the Holy Spirit; the word becomes a lamp to our feet. Paul said we needed to have our senses exercised in discernment; so it is a process we allow Yahshua Jesus to walk us through. We can recognize in our spirit and conscience when something does not sit right. When we do not ignore those red flags and we stay seated at the feet of Yahshua Jesus praying earnestly, the Holy Spirit is able to confirm the scripture to us and grant more clarity about the red flags we are seeing and the sense of disturbance we feel in the presence of the counterfeit.

So true, sir. Many Christians fail to realise that it IS biblical to cast out demons but NOT biblical to be "slain in the spirit". In fact, there is NO biblical verse that talks of any believer ever being "slain in the spirit". This inability to differentiate between what is biblical and unbiblical concerning the Holy Spirit and the demonic is a very grevious lapse in our understanding of God's Word. The price we end up paying is allowing (deliberately or unwittingly) the wolves and demons to come rushing into our churches. The churches and shepherds need to WAKE UP and see the devil in their midst... and cast him out!

Brother you're right but the spirit has made me move and shake, my flesh was trembling before the mighty presence of God my soul was praying and praising but my flesh reacted in such a way because I was being delivered ...cleansed by holy fire. I understand totally but I still tremble at the feeling of His presence is that ok or would you say that is not good or Godly. @@hellohellohello111 I do not believe that what he is mentioning here is demonic, but just simply the overwhelming love for God that makes you simply just want to, "Jump, shout, and dance before the Lord in the jubilee." I understand that emotional feeling so very well. I am sometimes in simple awe of God's presence that I just can't move at all, but at other times, I am in such a stirred up feeling of joy that I can't sit still. Neither is more holy than the other but is just two different ways of the overflowing filling of the Holy Spirit. So, to this brother that is feeling this way, never ask God to stop filling you with such a heart of awesomeness of who He is. Just simply allow yourself to be free to express yourself as you are feeling at the moment. If you know within yourself it is because of your great love for God, it will never be from the demonic. But, if it is because you want attention to yourself, then it is most likely, just fleshly, and not of the Spirit. Even one who is quiet and humble acting can be in it for show unto themselves. Our emotions are given unto us by God, and they are given as a way for us to express what we are feeling. We just have to discern if they are fleshly, demonic, or God-centered.

Torben....Not long ago, I was at an altar call in a Pentecostal church where everybody was praying for each other. Well, while many were praying for me and laying hands on me...suddenly I couldnt stand up and down I went...flat on my back, injuring myself immensely. At first I thought I broke my back. I couldnt understand it all...and how it could be of God....now I am wondering if someone with an evil spirit could have laid hands on me, conveying an evil spirit of harm to me. After hearing this message, Im thinking it was a conveyance of an evil spirit.

Discernment is a head process, discerning of Spirits is a God Process...Many have been healed through the Joy of the Lord experience...As a leader You must discern in the Spirit not with a dogma of the head/mind....The law will kill a ministry that used to follow the freedom of the Holy Ghost...Satan has planted a fear so he can move you with false flags anywhere he wants... This season is a time of alignment/separation in the church. It is not caused by God ,but is a reaction to insecurity. Our response is to seek security, the best place is deeper prayer life....and knee jerk responses to pressures should be a warning of manipulation by "church witch"....THere is error on both sides of the aisle, to yield or not to yield. Casting out religious spirits and fear helps....Yes there is a real lack of Deliverance, throughout the BODY and it should be taught... How about we teach people how to cast out their own demons, and then they can survive what ever the enemy throws....because TLR will not always be there to babysit you...Learning to walk with the Holy Ghost in discerning your own demons is absolutely satisfying, even if it is hard as hell sometimes.
