I like to think its because... 1 million viewers view 1x 45min show is great you get some money from KZbin for that. However if you break that 45 min show into 9x5 min clips you are guaranteed that each of those 9x5 min clips are going to be viewed. So instead of 1 million viewers for one long video you have just made 9 million view and a bucket more money from KZbin.

The movies handled consent better than the books. The books were seriously SERIOUSLY flawed when it came to consent. Even just simply how he bullied her when she was trying to state her hard limits, he just vetoed some of them. You can't veto someone's hard limits. Let alone when he ignored a safe word, which is just plain old rape. Granted, I don't think erotica is meant to be a how-to book. So, ultimately if people KNOW it's fiction, and intended as such then it's fine. But the author should've gone on record stating it's not intended as a how-to and shouldn't be practiced this way in real life (I heard she apparently publicly stated that it WAS accurate to life, which, if that is true I am very concerned for her, and her readers). But yeah, Matthew Perry needs to check out some better erotica if he thinks Fifty Shades is so explicit, lol. If he liked that, there is sooo much better out there, hell even just check out the top lists on Literotica for better writing than Fifty Shades for FREE.
