I don't think i need to go to church to pray, coz God hears our hearts, our minds our prayers whenever and wherever we are as long as we call him and believe in him. it's not the religion that can save us all, it's Us that truly believes in God and accept that Jesus, his only begotten son is our savior and is the only way to get to God. I've heard of Scientology and INC and these two religions are what I hated the most because of it's teachings about money and power and not about God alone, it's far from what God wants his people to be, what to do and what to hear and learn from his words. I don't know about the other religions but Christian and Baptist are the two religions that i like aside from my own religion which is Roman Catholic. they teach God's words and not the money and power. what i like about Tom Cruise is his acting skills not his religion and his beliefs

Tom really loves to sing tho -- and doesn't get much chance. He got to show off his voice in this one. His movie "Rock of Ages" wasn't his biggest hit, by far -- but the album, did quite well -- and lots of people loved his singing.

James Corden took Late Night Shows to a whole different level when he came on the scene. I wish they would've continued this show in England so he could be close to his family and still do what he loves. No doubt, Tom Cruise is the man. He seems like such a over the top fun dude to be around for inspiration. Corden and Cruise doing The Lion King had me laughing my ass off. Must have been a awesome surprise to the audience to be told James Corden and Tom Cruise will be part of the show.

A lot of times when hosts leave the show it’s because the network wants change, but they allow the host to “retire” so it doesn’t look like their contract wasn’t renewed. I am confident this is what happened with James, and is the reason CBS is not continuing the late late show with a new host
@MashaT22 Жыл бұрын
I was hoping the same, but most of the team probably would not be willing/able to move. Also, it just wouldn’t quite work the same way without access to A-listers at the drop of a hat. British humor (especially talk show humor) is very different and most Americans wouldn’t relate unless most of the writers are using American humor melded with accents of James British flavor. I do hope they’ll do some special reunion shows occasionally with their entire team and band and/or online bits. He also could have kept doing Carpool Karaoke online from London, but maybe there were copyright issues that wouldn’t allow it. I could watch those forever. I still frequently watch my favorites on repeat. I hope James will keep his heart close to us here in the US and still do projects where we can enjoy his comedy.

Imagine somebody telling their friends they went to see the Lion King. “Ah, that’s cool.” “Yeah, who would have thought Tom Cruise as Pumbaa?” “Yeah, that would…SAY WHAT?” I've seen Broadway musicals like Mamma Mia, Beauty & the Beast, and Little Mermaid in person, but Lion King remains my favorite Broadway musical. I got to see it when I was a kid Seeing the animals go down the aisle right next to me during the Circle of Life intro blew little me away. And James and Tom being a part of the musical made it even better. The chemistry between them is so infectious. And the duet of Can You Feel the Love Tonight is the icing on the cake. This was payback for Tom for all the stunts he made James do throughout the years, but I must say kudos to Tom for being a good sport! So fun to see Tom Cruise being silly but with such commitment. I will miss all the crazy, innovative humor that James Corden brought to his show like Carpool Karaoke and Crosswalk the Musical. I wish him all the best as he returns home for the next chapter. Thanks for the memories.

Here's some Lion King musical facts: The musical debuted on July 8, 1997, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at the Orpheum Theatre and was successful before premiering on Broadway at the New Amsterdam Theatre on October 15, 1997, in previews, with the official opening on November 13, 1997. It was then moved to the Minskoff Theatre from New Amsterdam to make room for Mary Poppins (which has since closed and now Aladdin performs at the New Amsterdam), where it still performs today. While this version of the musical is the touring version, on Broadway, it is the third longest-running show in Broadway history, and has grossed more than $1 billion, making it the highest grossing Broadway production of all time. Over 112 million people worldwide have seen the musical and it has earned numerous awards and honors, including six Tony Awards, one for Best Musical and Best Direction of a Musical, making director Julie Taymor the first woman to earn such an honor
