Failing of the justice system is almost always the demise of contention and peace, paving the way for evil and corruption to govern societies imo. These public servants will take eons to change for the better if the authoritative body over them, namely and primarily the police, is not made up of an independent body instead of being policed by their own kind, in executing investigations in to corruption along with harsh penalties given to convictions for accountability would not only set a deterrent example, but without a doubt set the standards to a much higher levels i believe. Internal affairs that are currently the watch dogs in policing the police, just has to go,replaced by independent body, ideally to include members of the public/community also to be a part of it, would remedy the current sad state of the police that has dropped to lowest levels recently with the sentiment of the people.

If I called a patient 'the most boring person I've ever come across' and told hem/her 'you're a disease,' I wouldn't have a job at the end of the day. It'd be an instant dismissal. So how come these public servants don't face the same consequences? We deal with aggressive, violent, abusive people all day, just like the police do. they have no excuse for this behaviour. It suggests to me that the force is corrupt from top to bottom. Their superiors not only condone their behaviour, I suspect they actually advocate it.

If I had the balls to do what you do, which I do not, I would definitely have a policy for myself that included following the following procedure: 1. Please identify yourself properly. ✅ 2. Is this a Stop and Account? No, then I am not legally obliged to answer any questions. 3. Am I being detained? 4. No, then I will carry on with my lawful activity. 5. Is your BWV on? 6. Yes, do not delete the footage as I will be requiring it. 7. And I would totally IGNORE all peripheral questions such as do you need help, do you need water etc etc. Suggested with the best of intentions.
