Amazing how unemotional they were in discussing what happened to President Kennedy just a week prior to this conversation. More concerned about getting the story straight, creating a friendly team for the investigation, and worrying about their own safety.... Speaks volumes.....

Funny how neither johnson nor hoover publicly condemned the Warren report citing the magic bullet theory. Here privately, hoover tells the world there were at least 3. The 1st and 3rd hitting kennedy. The latter blowing the back of his head out. So why are the autopsy photos included in the Warren report showing an intact skull?

You know Allen Dulles sounds like an excellent choice to me. Why not have the guy that JFK fired or forced to resign head up the investigation on his assassination. I am sure that Dulles would want to catch the person or persons responsible for this. We have been good friends a long time. I would love to use your report J Edgar. I know you love JFK and Bobby Kennedy as much as I do. Therefore, your report is bias free and we already have the bad guy. Hey it is good that we understand investigations and commissions. We may have to do this again in the future. Mark your calendar (June 6, 1968.)

It wasn't up to LBJ. The Congress appropriates money for presidential vehicles. You guys have to remember that 55 years ago, it wasn't like it is today. Congress actually CARED about saving the taxpayers money. It wasn't unusual for presidents to use cars for 10 years. Unlike today were we spend over a million every 4 years on new limousines, back then, presidents had to make due with upgrades on the existing ones. Also, back then, Cadillac and Lincoln used to lease the cars to the government because it was considered an honor to be chosen as the manufacturer of the presidential limousine. In reality, LBJ HATED riding in Kennedy's car.

At 3:23 Talking about Mexico-Mark Lane was at a JFK Assassination conference and David Atlee Phillips of the CIA was asked by a student about Oswald being in Mexico City. Phillips said Oswald was never in Mexico. The CIA said they had photos of Oswald, they had a tape recording of Oswald. The man in the photos was clearly not Oswald and it was said that the voice on the tape wasn't Oswald either. Whether there was a conspiracy or not, it looks like the CIA tried to make Oswald look guilty. Mike Pardue

Danny Cole, if you look at published bullistic's reports from the assassination, you will discover that the bullets fired from the rifle which was found in the book depository had the very strong capability to travel through a human body and still carry enough force to injure or kill another individual. It was one of more extremely powerful shotguns available in that era. The report also proves, conclusively, that the three bullets fired from Oswald's rifle originated from a point behind and to the right of Kennedy's limousine, several hundred yards away. As stated by Hoover in this recording, Connally was hit only because he turned in reaction to the firing of the first bullet, which entered the left side of Kennedy's back, then stopped in or around his heart. It fell loose on the operating table as the surgeon was massaging his heart some forty minutes later. Kennedy then was hit by the second bullet, which entered the back of his neck, causing him to reach up and grab his throat, which suggests that, although the first bullet landed near his heart, he was still alive after the shot. That second bullet then passed through his throat and hit Connally. The third bullet, of course, was the one that shattered Kennedy's skull. Had Connally not reacted to the firing of the first shot, the second bullet that hit him would have perhaps grazed his left shoulder and probably wound up lodged in the dash somewhere near the driver. As a proponent of the one gun, one man theory, this is what I always believed to be true. Although there certainly is some merit to multiple shooter theory, the evidence, or lack thereof, is simply insufficient to impress me otherwise. However, in the final analysis, knowing what we now know regarding the secrecy and suspect nature of our American government, we may all go to our graves without benefit of the real truth of this historic tragedy.

Those people were there, why would they run that way and all report they heard a shot and saw someone running with a rifle. You also don't know where the limousine was in relation to the Texas Schoolbook Depository building. John Connolly was sitting in front of JFK. The Texas Schoolbook Depository was behind them.
