alright, as a massive Kirby fan already, I'm curious to see if there's anything on here that I don't know... A couple corrections, though: Fact 10: Miyamoto actually really wanted Kirby to be yellow, and debated back and forth with Sakurai on it for a while. Their debate went on so long that the game was released in North America before a color had been confirmed, so the American team played it safe and made Kirby white on the box as he appears in game. Sakurai eventually convinced Miyamoto that Kirby should be pink, helped by the fact that it helped Kirby stand out in his first color game, Kirby's Adventure on the NES.

Fighter-Kirby is a direct reference to Ryu from Street Fighter. Kirby can perform moves very similar to the Hadouken and Shoryuken and even sports the same red headband as Ryu. As said in the video, both Yo-Yo-Kirby from Super Star and ESP-Kirby from Planet Robobot reference Ness. Ness is known for using a Yo-Yo as a weapon as well as sporting psychic powers. Both abilities also give Kirby a baseball cap. Sword-Kirby is an obvious one, giving him a green baggy cap and the ability to fire Sword Beams at full health, just like Link. He also has a Spin Attack since Kirby's Return to Dreamland. Link also uses bombs, with Bomb-Kirby's old hat (used before Return to Dreamland) being a mere blue palette-swap of the Sword-hat.

Fun fact: The Water ability used in the Kirby anime and in later games was actually fan made. At one point, HAL held a contest in which people got to submit their own ideas for Copy Abilities that could be used in that one episode of the Kirby anime within Kirby's dream. It was Japan-exclusive, unfortunately. The winners of the fan made ability contest were Water, Top, Iron, and Baton. Also, I had NO idea that a Kirby horror game was once planned. Given HAL's recent resurgence of old Kirby GCN betas after Kirby's Return to Dream Land successfully released the third one (albeit without the pop-up book design to it), making Kirby's Blowout Blast to recreate the second beta and Kirby: Star Allies to recreate the first (the E3 2005 game), it makes me wonder if that Kirby horror game will ever reappear as well. Probably the most mind blowing fact in this whole thing TBH. I knew almost everything else already, but not this. EDIT: I looked up on this Kirby horror game. It wasn't a standalone game, but rather, it was supposed to be one of Kirby Super Star's many sub-games. Now I wish it was in Kirby Super Star Ultra. I loved Revenge of the King for being a new adventure and was a little disappointed when I found out that Helper to Hero was another Arena (making three of them within the game) instead of another new adventure. Meta Knightmare Ultra was expected to just be Kirby's adventures but with Meta Knight. The True Arena was just self-explanatory. This made Revenge of the King the only new adventure (even if it WAS based on the Extra Mode for Kirby's Dream Land). Having Kagero Mansion would've added some new flavor and a new adventure. It would've been great.

This would be a huge non canon plot, but hear me out. She probably actually came from her universe chasing Metroids into Kirby’s universe.
