The jumpscare right after Librarian solved the powerbox puzzle was the best. He very pissed because he needed to resort to Russian youtubers to solve it and immediately after pushing the power switch he turns around and is jolted by the old man behind the fridge.

Letting your dog run outside the car opposed to putting them in the car is common in areas that don't get much traffic like remote areas/country sides. Good way to get them to get a good run in and they typically know the way home!

the structure on 50:04 is actually a coffin in the far north regions the ground is almost always frozen and almost impossible to dig so some indigenous people bury their dead in aerial graves on the trees (at least it was common in previous centuries)

I really agree with the thoughts about this game at the end. It seems similar to a lot of other games played here before, yet something feels better about this. The jumpscares did not feel too cheap or loud. And you never really see the monster, this felt more atmospheric. It also did not feel the need to just disgust the player with gore.

I'm from Russia & it's so good to see our country represented in a video game especially a horror one (my fav genre)! Especially when it's an indigenous minority culture, I'm not Yakut but I'm also natmin as we call it. Btw, Yakutia is pronounced as Ya-ku-tee-ya not Yakusha 🙂 Hope to see more good horror or semi-horror games about our country & I'll be happy if you play them! Also good to hear that the devs gave you a free key, you help them promote the game & get the free fun out of it

God, I hate the fishbowl effect. It is like... one of my biggest day to day semi-irrational fears. Made even worse by this one time a friend decided to drop by at 1am. They came up to my open computer room window, where I sat with my back to the window then said something. I think my soul actually left my body that day.

Such eerie vibes, love to see it! Another awesome video. Since you like region specific folklore stories, I recommend checking out the visual novel series, Cooking Companions, which is based on Slavic folklore! The first game is a little cryptic and relies on a lot of interpretation, but is still an absolutely dreadful experience.

41:27 If it is supposed to be wrapped up into a cube, for the 1st cube, the 2 on the cube would be sideways to the x and facing the lines, meaning 1 is the wrong answer, every cube but the 2nd is wrong, so it doesn't seem to be a choose the odd one out, maybe they want the number of correct cubes? It's odd, you are right about the puzzles being counter intuitive and slowing it down, haha.

This setting, with the students being aware of the events, plus the strange reality bending stuff, reminds me of the book The Gray House (In that house in russian) by Mariam Petrosyan. It's only a very weak similarity, but that's the feeling i get from this. (Also, the school kinda looks like the elementary school i went to)

i forget what it's called, but this game gives me vibes of a japanese film where a bunch of students and their teacher do a ritual so they won't lose touch, and end up in a cursed version of their school. there's a scene where a girl gets her face caved in with a sledgehammer. and one where one of the students hangs herself in the toilets.

It's an indie survival game on Steam that is heavily inspired by Half-Life and SCP, if you weren't the main character and instead one of the scientists trying to get out alive. It has some really good horror elements and is honestly the best survival game I ever played.

@@nachyo_taco2399 I see where you're coming from, but I think that if he is playing ULTRAKILL, which has the same problem you are talking about, lets Abiotic Factor have a chance at happening on the channel. The game has plenty of spooky, comfy and tense moments scattered throughout, and I would just love to see his reaction to the portal worlds, labs, manufacturing and security sector. I'm not obsessive, I am just really passionate about my favorite survival game of all time.
