In my opinion, Skinwalker Hunt is miles better compared to Witch Hunt. I found it way scarier and more immersive and killing the Skinwalker doesn't take too long, but it is pretty much the same as killing the Werewolf here in Witch Hunt. It jumpscares you (or you find it), you shoot it, it runs away in a random direction and you follow it, then repeat. It is still way less annoying because the maps are smaller than the Witch Hunt forest and you have more ways of finding the Skinwalker instead of just aimlessly walking around the forest (sometimes you can find footprints that tell you where it is, you can attract it to you in multiple ways, you have traps that take health away from it + tell you where it is, etc). But yeah I do hope he plays it, it really is my favorite indie horror game now.

I'm glad this series saw the introduction of Horror Babies Ancestor and Kitty in part 2 and we got the return of Darwin and Ghost Granny in this video. It's always good when the supporting cast make their unplanned appearances! This was a great series, especially in the atmosphere and visuals department. On that note, I will agree with you the bosses are a bit too bullet spongy and can feel like time wasters (especially Arrakis Daemon Lake Worm.)

Love your series on the game and personally I would highly recommend giving Skinwalker hunt a try. Its like witch hunt but with new mechanics, new maps, new weapons, and overall is less of a battle of attrition and more of hunting it and it hunting you.

I think it might be worth checking out the developer's spiritual successor to this game, _Skinwalker Hunt_ . It improves on this formula mechanically, but takes a step back aesthetically, in my opinion.

I see you became equally frustrated with the game as I was. If you are looking for a less frustrating experience with similar gameplay and atmosphere check out skinwalker hunt. It's a game by the same developer but in my opinion it is way more pleasant to play as soon as you understand the mechanics. It may get a bit too easy after some time but I think you'll love it.

As much as the bullet sponge-y quality of the bosses sucks I like that it's kind of like how people frequently talk about how many bullets a monster can take, granted when every other enemy takes like 1-2 shots max even just increasing how many shots it takes to 20 would have been enough to drive that theme in rather than like 2000.

The safe gives you a book that buffs the crosses to deal 200 damage and increases the radius btw, other than that i dont know much more... but yeah the fights are the weakest point imao
